mutant Posted July 21, 2014 (edited) thanks for inspiration man.... your photo-comments are / were always impressive and educational... cheers for that ... this is aroung the typical mid-big size for me too... larger than this creates problems with moving, weight and all... and then comes strategy! micromegas reports that trichos will/ would eventually overcome the weeds problem and start to take head seem to be spot on.... Auxin Posted July 23, 2014 Soaked 48 seeds in the goo expressed from one of Nitrogens TPQC X TPM mutants for 7 hours before planting. Hoping for J3 X Psycho0 and SS01 X T. bridgesii mutants.
franky Posted July 23, 2014 Hi auxin, what is the goo you soak your seeds in? A hormone? An innoculant? cheers
Auxin Posted July 23, 2014 An inoculant, I'm hoping. Nitrogen has loads of monstrose cacti, they flowered and many of the seed grow new monstrose plants. Its known that fasciation can be caused by viral or bacterial vectors so I just cut a piece off of one of those baby monsters and mashed it up with a little water and soaked seeds in the slime. On the off chance it works it would prove a useful trick. I previously tried using the goo and a cactus spine to tattoo the tips of grafted cacti, that trial didnt work.
franky Posted July 23, 2014 Cool, will be interesting to see. Would love to get my hands on some of nitrogens seed lol

hostilis Posted July 25, 2014 Finally found some non-pc pachanoi at home depot! Yay. It looks like their semi monstrose one or the one that the one dude called "Altman's collosus" Here they are with a PC in the middle. Here's some photos of them. The bottom of one of the cuttings had some rib playing action. It reminds me of the semi monstrose clone that I've seen them sell and also looks just like another semi monstrose that a friend from california sent me.
