used 8 x 1litre bottles of tomato feed at a ratio of 100ml tomato feed to 7/800ml of aquarium water and had none left at the end ..

they could've fit more in but that was twenny bar worth of feed and affording more will have to wait for now lol

noticed the bridgesii from plaza had rooted already so watered it in too .. and just in case the lumberjackus had, what with being a bridgesii and having had it longer .., without checking ... I watered/fed that one too.

Fairly rare in collections, my strombocactus disciformis ssp Esperanzae gifted me with 4 blooms recently, which appears I've successfully pollinated...... :)

yessir, that was my only choice.  fortunately I had 3 blooms on 2 separate disci plants so i crossed both ways.  Hard to see amongst the spines but I do believe I've 4 Esperanzae fruits.

found some fruit on this Cereus on Cockatoo Island (middle of Sydney Harbour) yesterday, just picked out 90 odd seeds. there seemed to be a zillion dead flowers and this was perhaps the only fruit? self pollinated? she was located in a restricted zone, so presumably not too much love in recent years...

Planted these little suckers in their own pots. The three lophs I kinda grew accidentally. I thought they were goners so I just threw them in a pot with another cactus and waddaya know... they live!

Any ideas for the sign? :)
