BedOSpines Posted April 25, 2016 That's nice zelly did you pollinate the Esperanzae with disciformis? Haven't ran into any good Esperanzae seeds yet

Haven't ran into any good Esperanzae seeds yet yessir, that was my only choice. fortunately I had 3 blooms on 2 separate disci plants so i crossed both ways. Hard to see amongst the spines but I do believe I've 4 Esperanzae fruits.

AbleKay Posted April 25, 2016 found some fruit on this Cereus on Cockatoo Island (middle of Sydney Harbour) yesterday, just picked out 90 odd seeds. there seemed to be a zillion dead flowers and this was perhaps the only fruit? self pollinated? she was located in a restricted zone, so presumably not too much love in recent years...
at0m Posted April 29, 2016 Planted these little suckers in their own pots. The three lophs I kinda grew accidentally. I thought they were goners so I just threw them in a pot with another cactus and waddaya know... they live! Any ideas for the sign?
