Sallubrious Posted August 1, 2015 I went to see his dad this morning and sorted it out. His dad was really grateful that I didn't call the cops. The kid has a rap sheet as long as his arm. Two of them jumped the side fence from where I have a few peruvianus logs laying, so maybe they got a dose of instant karma that will last for weeks.
DiscoStu Posted August 1, 2015 When Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva was practicing the profound prajna paramita, he illuminated the five skandhas and saw that they are all empty, and he crossed beyond all suffering and difficulty. Shariputra, form does not differ from emptiness; emptiness does not differ from form. Form itself is emptiness; emptiness itself is form. So, too, are feeling, cognition, formation, and consciousness.Shariputra, all dharmas are empty of characteristics. They are not produced. Not destroyed, not defiled, not pure, and they neither increase nor diminish. Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, feeling, cognition, formation, or consciousness; no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no sights, sounds, smells, tastes, objects of touch, or dharmas; no field of the eyes, up to and including no field of mind-consciousness; and no ignorance or ending of ignorance, up to and including no old age and death or ending of old age and death. There is no suffering, no accumulating, no extinction, no way, and no understanding and no attaining. Because nothing is attained, the Bodhisattva, through reliance on prajna paramita, is unimpeded in his mind. Because there is no impediment, he is not afraid, and he leaves distorted dream-thinking far behind. Ultimately Nirvana! All Buddhas of the three periods of time attain Anuttarasamyaksambodhi through reliance on prajna paramita. Therefore, know that prajna paramita is a great spiritual mantra, a great bright mantra, a supreme mantra, an unequalled mantra. It can remove all suffering; it is genuine and not false. That is why the mantra of prajna paramita was spoken. Recite it like this: Gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha!

etherealdrifter Posted August 10, 2015 Spokesman: Gas use suspected in burglary of F1 driver Jenson Button and wife By Laura Smith-Spark and Margot Haddad, CNN Updated 1632 GMT (2332 HKT) August 7, 2015 F1 driver and wife burglarized 00:48 Story highlights Gas is suspected to have been used in the air conditioner in Jenson Button's rented villa, says spokesman Two men broke into the Buttons' vacation home in Saint Tropez on Monday night, the spokesman says (CNN)Formula One driver Jenson Button's wife Jessica had her engagement ring stolen when thieves broke into a rented house in France -- in a burglary that may have involved the use of gas, a spokesman for Button said. The British McLaren Honda driver, his wife and friends were vacationing in a villa in Saint-Tropez, on the French Riviera, when two men broke in on Monday night while they all slept, said spokesman James Williamson. Gas is suspected to have been used in the villa's air-conditioning unit, he told CNN. He didn't elaborate on what kind of gas it might have been. The thieves "stole a number of items of jewelery including, most upsettingly, Jessica's engagement ring," he said in a statement. "The police have indicated that this has become a growing problem in the region, with perpetrators going so far as to gas their proposed victims through the air conditioning units before breaking in. "Whilst unharmed, everyone involved is unsurprisingly shaken by the events." Police in Saint-Tropez declined to comment on the reported theft. Button, who lives in Monaco, has enjoyed a 15-year career as a Formula One driver and was 2009 world champion. The 35-year-old married model Jessica Michibata, born and raised in Japan, at the end of last year. flora Posted August 12, 2015 ^^consequently not doing any of the work i'm supposed to be doing. i blame it on the snow strange encounter... lady from across the road knocks on my door and asks to me remove the trailer hood thats in my front yard because she can see it from her living room window and it reminds her of death, drowning and funerals. seriously? a trailer top? what is so wrong with being reminded of death anyway? lol, i'm a little peeved that she expects me to rearrange objects to appease her view. really i dont think its going to resolve her issues. like... acknowlege/embrace life-death, or put on some rosy coke bottle glasses?
