It may get into the low minus figures but sitting around isn't a good way to stay warm. last time I was there I just couldn't stay warm, lots of layers and a good jacket and still had cold kidneys.! take lots to wear. and most importantly a seat! incognito Posted April 13, 2011 guys u need to stay WARM! seriously! nothing can prepare u for the oberon coldness. first time i went i literally thought i was going to die. i was unprepared and sleeping in my tent i could feel all of my internal organs getting colder and colder. vry lucky i didnt get very sick. u will NEED thermals, go to bigw, they are very reasonably priced. uber thick jackets and pants and beanies. and fresh sets if they get wet. not gonna make it this year. might pop up on the saturday morning and go for a lactarius forage if anyones out of bed! And generous, food and grog for one and all. And an enterage of people who really knew how to tweek that sound system thingy. It would be more relaxing without the bitter cold. We have a really good cyber community here.
