San Pedro Removal.

Recommended Posts

I have a very large San Pedro cactus to quote on to remove, about 2 tonne or more in the Hills District, Sydney.

Seems a waste to just tip it, and I can only keep a bit.

Anyone have any ideas?

1. Are you sure it's pedro?

2. If yes on #1, await the offers of 'help' from generous members here :)

I'm pretty sure. I've been searching about it.

I'll go back and take some pictures tomorrow, the google map one is too dark.

Sure looks like this one, is there some other that looks like that?

2000kgs are you sure?

more like what will the quote be to rent the truck to remove : ) good luck mopoke.

if that really was the case i reckon if you were buying it a cool grand would be a good buy, but its hard to figure out if your the seller or the remover in your first post.......im just speculating anyway as im on the other side of the country but good luck anyway.

A: Charge the client a reasonable amount to remove - cover your time and equipment. then charge members here to buy it from you :)

B: or you could charge the client and have every mad dog SAB member in the Sydney area remove it for you.

or you could Do A then but give it away for free ( which is the best option.. ;) .... for us anyway :) )

well done Mopoke, I'm looking forward to seeing those pics.

I'm in the tree business, don't know much about cactus but I did read up on this one.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'll post a picture tomorrow night if I can. It's big.

I guess I could just put a price on it and post the address here, then just remove the stump.

Thanks for the replies.

It's quite easy to tell the difference, but a lot of newcomers get it wrong, so I'm just throwing it out there...Make sure it's not Cereus peruvianus (or other Cereus spp.). I'll leave it to you to google that if you haven't already. You'll get a definite answer when you post a pic. If it's Trichocereus (any species) you will have no trouble finding people to help you remove it. If it's not, you probably won't have as much luck.

A photo will settle it, but failing that, look for fat ribs.

After having another look, I think I was wrong.

It has white flowers at night. It's going to cost me heaps to dump it. :(
