AndyAmine. Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) Incog: Just to recoupe, I only brought up the colour so I could suggest you keep an eye on his skin because it is common practice. I care about dogs, thats all.The rest is simply a follow on from that. Just because its a subject close to our hearts doesnt mean anyone has to get shitty about it.As far as Im concerend AmStaffs and APBTs are 2 different expressions of the same breed. One has been bred for conformation in the ring and the other has been bred for working, gameness and drive. I love them both.Youll see that with every working breed, just that they havent been seperated by name.Anyway, thats me signing out of this discussion as its going around in circles. incognito Posted May 6, 2013 andy thanks for the tip i was chatting to my old girl last night and she said the same thing. thanks for the advice mate. i agree lets just see more pics of members pooches my fav so far was the dachshound! im thinking of geting one as a mate for maynard. mum had two dachshounds when we where growing up named benson and felicity, they where the best of friends. I shall try find a pic from the old family album to scan up here. Felicity was a very much feared guard dog.No one would eneter our yard without mums permission without felicity swinging from their ankles. And boy was she fast and sneaky. AndyAmine. Posted May 6, 2013 Cheers Incog..I am getting a real soft spot for Dachshunds myself and that pic of Lentil is so freakn cute!I saw my frist wire coat one a few weeks ago and by golly, what a cutie-patootie!The owner told me that apprently the different coats tend to have differnt temperaments? The wirecoat being a bit more relaxed and the short coat more fiesty??? AndyAmine. Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) Incog. Here are my last update photos of Max.Unfortunately havent heard about him in a while but I should see him again at the next big show.,I posted about what happened earlier in this thread, I became extremely unwell shortly after he arrived so rather than risk it havng a negative impact on him at an important stage of his develoment he went back to the breeder who I talk to regularly and he's now their house dog. Ill get one from another litter down the track when the right pup pops up.For now, as you know Im looking at taking on an adult that needs rehoming or a rescue, but again Im waiting for the right one. Amazonian Posted May 6, 2013 aww give him something amz, 30 seconds in i was ready to give him my dinner Lol, yeah i did drag it out a bit huh. He just begs randomly without any command. And he did get something...he got a walk. I didn't realize just how big your dog actually is HillBilly. BIG dog. Your cat looks like it fits in well with the pack too The dogs love the cats, especially the collie dog, she nearly licks the cats face off when the cat/s appears.

Amazonian Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) ^He/she does look happy . I see remnants of a chewed up toy or cushion, or couch ? ,lol. That is a common sight at my place. We got the dogs stuffed toys from the opp shop, and the first to go was the eyes, then nose, then the guts. Some mornings you wake up and it looks like its snowed in the back yard...stuffing everywhere. I am always a bit worried the dogs will ingest the synthetic fibres and it could strangle an intestine or something(if thats even possible?). We make sure we don't buy the toys with the plastic beads in them though. Both my dogs 1/2 lay on a particular stuffed toy, and latch onto it with their mouth and suckle it, and knead the paws back and forth as if stimulating milk flow from a teat, lol. Buddy is like 2 and he still does it. Edited May 22, 2013 by Amazonian
bullit Posted May 22, 2013 shes a cool dog thats 4 sure . i also buy stuffed toys but now i cut the eyes and nose of coz years ago i found them in the poo also a whole peg . my wife sees alsorts of things dogs shouldnt eat on the op table @ work .
Amazonian Posted May 22, 2013 ^ I sometimes take the eyes and nose off, but then its just an invitation for the dogs to get right to the guts, lol. If we see the dog get eyes/nose off, we take it off them. My dog snuck my husbands dirty ear plugs off his bed side table and ate them. Ewww. Lucky they didn't have the string that keeps them as a pair. We know he ate them as we found whole yellow ear plugs in the droppings, lol.
