Hi Planthelper,

Could you post some pictures of the three different Cathas? I'd like to seed the leaf, branch, stem and whole plant differences if possible.

Maybe even pictures of OTHER varieties of Catha besides the three popular ones.

ps. have you also got info on the growing requirements of the varieties. I hear that the narrow leaf is quite easily adapted to the Melbourne climate (Melbourne Botanic Gardens have or had one)

tort u visited my garden i showed you my narroleave catha edulis seedlings- some

siames twins under hid lights remember?

aswell i showed you my red catha seedlings,

with the words, i grew those from steves

seed, later i gave daniel a red seedling of

mine...

that upsets me, the photo posted on this topic is my narroleaved catha baby as u say,

and i

did grow it from seed.

yes, I remember your narrow leaved seedlings now. They didn't look like narrow leaved as juveniles did they??

thats right, and you people out there,

growing the white catha dont be surprised if

it forms narroleaves once the plant is old

and having lots of branches...

the older the grow habit,... the more the catha

edulis leaves get elongated.

whilst the leaves set in spiralmotion

are inhibitor grow or to say are "representing upright motion".
