Alchemica Posted June 27, 2009 (edited) "Now the dreaming period is subdivided into four stages. The first stage is the longest... and it's the best... During that stage, the dream is beautiful. The second stage... is not quite so long... and it's a little unsettling... and there's an element of instability in it... a certain touch of insecurity... In the third stage which is not... again so long... the forces of light and the forces of darkness of "good" and of "evil" are equally balanced... and things are begining to look rather dangerous. Now in the fourth stage, which is the shortest of them all... The negative, dark or "evil" side triumphs and the whole thing blows up... and so then there's a waking period before the whole thing starts again..." I know it's just a song but still, could it be the case? Wars are one thing that could be the end I guess... Anyone know who originally came up with the quote? EDIT: Should say spiritual and materialistic instead of "good" and "evil", hard to find appropriate words. Edited June 29, 2009 by Alchemica

Legba Posted June 27, 2009 In the year 2525 If man is still alive If woman can survive They may find In the year 3535 Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies Everything you think, do, or say Is in the pill you took today In the year 4545 Ain't gonna need your teeth, won't need your eyes You won't find a thing to do Nobody's gonna look at you In the year 5555 Your arms are hanging limp at your sides Your legs not nothing to do Some machine is doing that for you In the year 6565 Ain't gonna need no husband, won't need no wife You'll pick your son, pick your daughter too From the bottom of a long black tube In the year 7510 If God's a-comin' he ought to make it by then Maybe he'll look around himself and say Guess it's time for the Judgement day In the year 8510 God's gonna shake his mighty head He'll either say I'm pleased where man has been Or tear it down and start again In the year 9595 I'm kinda wondering if man's gonna be alive He's taken everything this old earth can give And he ain't put back nothing Now it's been 10,000 years Man has cried a billion tears For what he never knew Now man's reign is through But through the eternal night The twinkling of starlight So very far away Maybe it's only yesterday In the year 2525 If man is still alive If woman can survive They may find In the year 3535 Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies Everything you think, do or say Is in the pill you took today .... Alchemica Posted June 27, 2009 (edited) Excellent, thanks for the input. So what do people think might happen if everyone lives for today, takes care of the Earth, shares all the World, lives as One, lives in peace etc? Can too much positive thinking be dangerous? Do "good" and "evil" need to exist for the world to work? I guess the Earth is self-limiting in sustaining population growth in terms of resources, but other than that? bℓσωηG Posted June 27, 2009 Really good question man, maybe people will realize there is no good or evil and take "responsibility " for the energy vibrations they put out, and dwell in.....nature has the blueprint shall we follow? mmmmm.....
