Bebs Posted May 12, 2011 Well that was breath taking to say the least! The planets are HUGE and in alignment in the East for most of the night and well into the sunrise I highly recommend everyone braving the cold at least once this week to see it I can't wait for the 30th when the moon is in alignment too :D The view from the obelisk in newy was pure awe-inspiring followed by a heart warming sunrise mmmhhhmm.. I think tonight/tomorrow sunrise I am going to go down to the pier near the Nobbies light house undisturbed view all the way to the east horizon and well away from traffic noise definitely taking about 20 blankets tho! It's bloody freezing at the moment! Does anyone have a telescope by any chance? even better, one with a camera mount to take some nice long exposure pictures :D Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
