acc, psychedelics/entheogens and the mafia/organised crime

Recommended Posts

i have been involved in the entheogenic underground since i was 14 (half my life)

i have had an interest in organised crime/mafia e.t.c since i was in my late teens, because i was/am disgusted at the influence amphetamines, heroine, alcohol and ciggerrettes has on our society, and also purely because i find the 'primal/tribal/family' criminal psychology of organised crime fascinating.

It is commonly acknowledged that the WAR ON DRUGS is in fact a self perpetuating cycle of corruption, inefficiency, and hypocrisy.

in mr 14 years of involvement with plant based hallucinogens and synthetic psychedelics (entheogens) i have never:

*encountered a single fatality as a result of hallucinogens/psychedelics/ENTHEOGENS

*encountered violence perpetuated by or the result of 'business dealings' involving these substances.

*encountered individuals whose sole income is based on the production of, supply, or distribution of these substances.

*encountered *powder money and guns* or * drug facillitated assets*

there is not a lot of money to be made in plants/psychedelics, there are very few, if any, whos soul income relies on them; there is no serious physical harm in their use, and no evidence for serious violent/antisocial behaviour resulting from their use or circulation amidst mainstream society.

In fact, in my 14 years of involvement in this community, and at certain periods in my life the more 'serious' underground 'big wigs of psychedelia', i have in fact witnessed the following:

*people gaining better health and healing as a result of psychedelics in their life

* 'business dealings' that have an incredibly low profit margin, most often to the detriment of those facillitating the production and distribution of psychedelics (perhaps this changes when it gets to the level of street suppply e.t.c due to all the mixed bag business on this level, which is more then likely)

*encountered any kind of 'psychedelic mafia' or organised crime that even slightly associates with psychedelics (see above)

*individuals and families whom regularly risk their own safety freedom and overall welbeing in order to facillitate what they truly believe to be a beneficial process to society/culture and humanity as a whole...

*there are no powder money and guns involved with the psychedelic/entheogenic community, is anything their is never more then 'personal' amounts of recreational drugs.

*PSYCHEDELICS ARE NOT BY NATURE RECREATIONAL!

we dont do this for fun, we do this because it is something that NEEDS to be done, and is the most part to the benefit of our sick society/ "civilisation"

*psychedelics and entheogens actually cure/treat serious drug addiction and anti social/unhealthy behaviour on a regular basis.

THIS IS MINE AND MANY OTHERS EXPERIENCES/INSIGHTS

Given the above, how is it that our community and the individuals that it is made up of warrent being treated like criminals?

IT is a blatent waste of the australian tax payers money, and a neglectfull misappropriation of resources that the REAL criminals have even the slightest attention drawn off them whilst the ACC and other specialised drug investigation units focus on us!

yes there are a lot of us, but nowhere near as many mainstream commercial drug users/dealers/manufacturers...

And we are friendly! the most heated it ever gets between us is some internet rants and quite mediocre social friction.

We are willing to and regularly make self sacrafices based on what we believe is our own god given right, and is in the best interest of humanity as a whole; and the criminals u dump us in with are doing whatever the fuck they want/feel the need to do (to the most horrible extremes) for what THEY WANT.

Whomever u are out there on our case, you are wasting your time, your oganisations time, and taxpayers money preying on a community of people for the most part can be generalised as pascifists, social introverts/fringe dwellers and activists for the enrichment/healing of humanity.

Even better yet, why not take this awareness and align integrate with the Interfaith Church movement, they are popping up all over the place, heres one example interfaith church.interfaith christians

it seems we have common grounds and vision, and surely theres rooms amongst all those religions uniting for shamanism/new world entheogenica.

And membership may well serve us well legally as well?

E,

Good point about the real criminals... Terrence McKenna mentions in a talk that nobody really makes money out of psychedelics... everyone I have spoken to, seems to be think it is process of futility... the crims carry guns, they don't give a fuck, harm the community in so many ways, wanna be the gangstar... the sad thing, Australian Law Enforcement is often in cahoots with this kind of organised crime...

If we legalised drugs... all drugs... for the most part, all this crime would disappear... these people would stop making money... all the bad stuff associated with these types would disappear (just like prohibition brought the gangsters into America)

A friend told me about an organised crime syndicate who regularly gang rape young girls, and then leave them out in the desert for them to die and they are reported missing, and yet people in the community know about it.

And yet, the police do nothing and nobody does anything, because they are powerless against these thugs.

That's not right.

But our society gives these people the ability to make this money, and then have this power to do these sort of things.

Sure, if we legalised drugs, maybe some people would take more drugs, and drugs of addiction would still harm people, but also, drugs for the mind, for the psyche, like psychedelics would be able to be investigated and researched and better applied to people. We wouldn't have to worry so much about the dodgily produced stuff... but getting rid of the backbone of crime, would be worth it!

Already, Switzerland is giving junkies heroin on prescription. People choose how they live their lives... but at least those junkies are not going to strung out, looking for their next fix and robbing people's house and so on!

But after a while, maybe like the Swiss, we would have to accept that drugs are an actual problem in our society, (not just something that can be nipped in the bud via "laws") and that people have to learn to deal with these drugs, and we have to change our approach.

If substances like Ibogaine and Ayahausca were more also available, much could be counteracted of people's tendency to use addictive drugs to fill a spiritual vacuum and emptiness, and we could actually address that spiritual vacuum and many of the problems within our society.

Julian.

E , I would personally argue that in being involved in the scene for an equal time to yourself . There is some llevel of psychedelics which has been hijacked by organised crime although it all depends whether you regard manyy of the substances in Pihkal as stimulants or psychedelics as Organised Crime alreday controls the distribution of manythese and make rather extreme profit margins. Further more someone known by a FOAF who sold Lucy brought from the a guy who'd turn up to do his shit in $100,000 sports cars, sought of sounds like a mafia /organised crtime type to me

While I see your point regarding plant based ethnogens I think the organised crime stigma has come from the relationship of both adam and lucy and some of the people that are involved in these type of activities. In all reality it makes me laugh that by restricting acess to precusors and equipment to allow small scale personal production by a science students or others with chemical know how for themselves and their friends , the government has effectively handed to criminal syndicates control of the market regarding MDA & LSD like substances.

Unfortunately criminal syndicates have also have had some degree of involvement with the cannabis scene since it took off I'm sure if you scan some newspaper archives you find a few organised criome related killings in that scence during the 70s and 80's cannabis is lumped in the psychadelics / ethnogen catergory of plant hence re-enforcing in the mind of the public the link between Our community and moneyy going to organised crime

I think people who dabble in any of the three things I've listed above should make an effort to ensure the source of their enjoyment is not coming from Criminal organistaions not the easiest I know but it is possible and something I think that needs to be considered by anyone who deems themselves a responsible user

this would be my answer to those problems...

hydro is pretty much green heroine, and from what ive heard recently commercial bush operations are more lucerative to some bikie gangs then meth.

i was refferring specifically to non synthetic psychedelics/entheogens... in my experience the only REAL acid and md has come from conscious individuals whom know what they are doing.

everythign else seems totally inferior and not worth the time or braincells (in my experience)
