waterboy 2.0 Posted September 2, 2016 Quote Map created with QGIS using GIS data for 500,000 roads from Geoscience Australia GEODATA TOPO 250K vector datasets. Roads are weighted by size (dark blue = unsealed dirt tracks, pink and orange = minor sealed and unsealed roads, yellow and white = major roads and highways)

FancyPants Posted September 7, 2016 My Endler's Livebearers (the pretty little rainbow wild type of guppy), guppies, and shrimps (prawns :D) New hobby to keep me sane. We're breeding the red cherry shrimps, and hoping to breed the bigger ones with white and red (Crystal Red) which can earn you a few bucks if you get a good setup. We've even found a black mutated shrimp from the red cherries as a throwback. The Endler's are AWE"SOME. I'll never get another regular guppy ever again I think; these guys are hardy, curious, voracious little buggers who are endlessly doing a little shimmy to show off their colours.

waterboy 2.0 Posted September 21, 2016 Quote We used the data from SEDAC / CIESIN. It's a gridded set with a count of people for roughly every square kilometer on earth. The dark lines you see represent the total amount of people on either that latitude (vertical axis) or longitude (horizontal axis).
