I am still undecided about whether the attack was a good thing or not. Pro: It brought some media attention. Con: It will give the government ammo against anti-censorship people...I can hear their spin doctors now "These hackers are internet terrorists, we will not give in to terrorism"

I think this would have no chance in the States. They have a Bill of Rights and suspicion of big, interventionist central governments which has been beaten into them from a young age. Just look at their current health care debate...you don't hear Aussies shouting "no socialism!" when the federal government threatens to take over the states hospitals.

I believe a recent ninemsn poll in the last few days had 130,000+ against internet censorship and only 20,000+ for censorship. If the pollies are our servants, then I hope they are getting the message.

Australian apathy pisses me off. I'm working on a plan to take over Tasmania and secede...people will have to enter re-education camps for several moths before being let back into the population. Who's with me?

I'm with you mate, exactly my words " slowly taken our freedom bit by bit ". I say shutdown the government and start again, hell there's a lot to it, but i recon i could run this country 5x better than what it is now.

I'm sure we will find someway to stop this BS but i just can't believe there doing this to us !

Sorry if i came along to strong, i just really hate the government.
