Popcorn, No PC Tek Just one question regarding lids..... can I do it the same way as outlined in the tek and then just use a normal pasta sauce jar lid with a polifill hole? Hyphal Posted May 25, 2008 You probably could yes - but popcorn would be hard to sterilise properly by steaming is my guess. You would probably be better off doing the pf tek but with polyfill filters in the lid to speed up colonisation if you don't have a pressure cooker. But, obviously it does work sterilising popcorn that way as demonstrated - I would just be a little careful, maybe boil for minimum of 2 hours just to be sure.
