Maybe a sharply defined hexagonal rib structure?

Are those brown spines common with grafted Williamsii?

Nice work. I'll be curious to see how those babies grow up. Have you got any seedlings grown on their own roots that we could see for comparison?

yes, 20 i am keeping as seed grown. but they look no different from any other loph seedling and are still only a couple mm.

here they are tonight. excuse the water, it has been raining heavily for about 2 weeks straight now :( despite over 80 cm of rain, they still push on strong!

i hope so. so far i cannot really tell them apart from same sized fricii grafts....but the father is fricii and usually the males traits are more prominent. who knows.....what i am excited about is the flower!!!! cant wait!

I'm planning on putting mine on a Trichocereus pachanoi graft after it out-grows it current root-stock.

Or maybe I'll degraft it.... I donno...

What do you guys think would be best?

I have a Myrtillocactus geometrizans I could graft it to instead of the Trichocereus pachanoi...

Think that's better?
