A native pleurotus or am i way off?

Question

hey guys. i hope some experts are on today!

this specimen was found amongst grass in a park in Sydney. it was growing beside two other specimens.

it has a very delightful peppery odor that reminds me of lactarius deliciosus.

about 9-10cm diameter and around 5-6cm from bottom of stipe to top.

any ideas?
