Posted December 27, 2007 As per recommended procedure, the absorbent pad is inserted into water for 15 s whilstbeing held vertically, removed from water, capped, and then left to incubate for 5 min. The presence of a clear positive band for either THC or MA, or both, So these tests take over 5mins to complete! Thats a lot of time to hold someone up, so I can see that there would be a lot of personal judgment involved on the P.O's part as to who they should stop for that long. What I mean is that IMO a copper would be a lot less likely to hold up a busy business-man/public-servant thats in a hurry for a meeting or something that a typically normal looking person, or of course an alternative looking type.
