Pisgah Posted September 19, 2007 Those are the only ones on their own roots, aside from a straight species asterias. I have a few on pereskiopsis though. I need to get more going, though. Every one of my myriostigma seem to attract scale and when it rained last my biggest on happened to be just in line with a hole in my gutter which is riddled with rust... Conan Troutman Posted October 13, 2007 (edited) Hello Astrophytes, Picked this one up awhile ago, had pretty much no roots and a nice big oozing infection...cut back 5/6th of the plant to save it, so had little choice but to graft. Now, after a couple of weeks and despite my incompetence its seems to be growing along quite steady...all I need now is an ID lack of speckling lead me to make my first guess as A. orantum var quadricosta but as the ribs are just coming back from the thinning effects of dehydration, bluntly put... farked if I know what it is. After consulting a good mate I would say its pretty hard to tell the ID at this point but that only makes me more eager to see what it is. I dont think its Cereus Peruvianus v. Spiralis though because I think the aereols would be closer together in the ribs, but if is I would be pretty excited as I have wanted to get a cutting of it for ages.
