Another large unidentified Trich

Question

Hey all, seems there's some large and rather interesting trichs going around so i thought i'd add these latest finds into the mix... the one with heaps of golden spines is mostly prostrate, growing only about two feet high and spreading out. There's one i don't think is a trich but it looks nice  The really big one with painful looking spines looks similar to something i've been calling Cuzcoensis... the large, spineless, bluish one is most interesting IMO and it's parent plant is a monster. The cactus with the roots attached looks like something i got a few weeks ago known as macrogonus. Hmm, confusing...

Thanks in advance,

Micro

1 & 2: look very bridgesioid, maybe Eileen, but not %100 on that, depends where it came from etc. I am assuming they are the same cacti?

3: If you say it is prostrate and spreading in habit I would say Echinopsis huascha, it looks a little different to me, so it might not be.

4: Not sure, looks interesting though.

5: Looks quite macrogonus like.

6: Not sure, but is a very cool looking cactus.

Hey thanks guys I was quite lucky to find these beautiful plants. Seems like some more pics are in order...

OK first pic is of a 'macrogonus' i planted two weeks ago, seems to be the same as the rooted section in the first bunch of pics...

Second photo is of the big blue monster sitting next to piece of eileen i bought off SnS a week ago (Thanks ed), quite different IMHO, but also some similar characteristics.

Third is a close up of the spination (two downward facing spines)

Fourth is a comparison of the 'cuzcoensis' I found a month ago and the one I found this week. Beside a noticeable difference in girth, do you think these two cactii are the same?

The one in the pot was given to me by a 'cactus lady' who lives around the place. She's just tired of looking after he ex-partners cacti (he took most of them to establish a cactus farm somewhere, but there are hundres of them left). She gave me this one as well as an extablished T. Knuthians/Peruvianus (the knobbly cactus that is going around). Wonderful and kind lady

Tonic, the golden spine prostrate one is VERY fat, (i.e I couldn't put my hands around it - even if it didn't have spines), and I wasn't aware T.Huascha could get that large...

The trich with the really long spines is not at all bitter, only beautiful :drool2: (1 & 2, which are the same, is reasonably bitter)

Anyway, thanks again, give me a few years and i'll have some to pass around!

EDIT: SirLSD, I have a supposed Terscheckii and it is quite different from the cactus photo-ed above, not even sure if that one is a Trichocereus.

I'm confused, Tonics calls have got me thinking that I'm seeing the photos in a different order, so i'll describe them.

1&2, which is the one standing against the wall and the closeup, I think look like a Pachanoi, maybe hybridized with a Macrogonus, doesn't look like a Bridge at all to me.

4, which is the one with the arms growing off the horizontal piece, looks like a Macrogonus.

5, which is the vicious looking one with two arms pointing at the camera, looks like a Cuzcoensis.

Unsure about the others.
