Unknown Mushies, please help identify!

I have had literally thousands of these popping up in the back yard

Spore print is jet black

Agrocybe/conocybe? I think I have seen similar ones down my way a few months back (was in another ID thread, might be worth a look - got a name there) - but not sure if they are the same. Somewhat similar, could be the same genus?

What sort of habitat - grass/chips/shit?

Coprinus sp., probably C. micaceus. Got shitloads of em too, coming up in my compost

If they are related to the shaggy mane they may well be edible, I thought they might be from their appearance.

they dont look like shaggy mane to me.. i wouldnt eat them

I would have to agree with ferret, Coprinus micaceus, edible but avoid drinking alcohol after consuming them.
