I guess you wouldn't even notice a missing limb! Keep the pics posted, if there is cactus porn, you invented it!!!
shruman Posted March 2, 2007 Shroomie, I dont think its a good idea to encourage this sort of illegal behaviuor, the people who grew them obviously have a lot of love & respect for these plants, would u like it if someone ripped off one of urs?
ferret Posted March 2, 2007 (edited) i dont think shroomie was encouraging nicking any cuttings.. mate, id be bullshitting if i said it didnt at all cross my mind! but yeh like shruman said you gotta respect dudes collections and pretty much all growers are happy to share cuts with those with a genuine interest in these plants.. okey dokey this is the end folks. i promise.. theres a few double ups of some varieties shown above in this lot but i just couldnt leave a few out.. im obviously sick and need help and heres a couple to clear the palate... cheers guys glad you enjoyed em Edited March 2, 2007 by ferret
shruman Posted March 2, 2007 (edited) Truly beautiful plants, great photos love the pascana, wot do u think the last is chiliensis perhaps? sorry if I misinterpreted u shroomie. Ive heard of growers with substantial gardens losing over 100' in a night, heartbreaking & scary. Also heard of old growers with old gardens who do not appreciate every tom, dick & harry rocking up & asking for a cut although many are happy to share. zee_werp Posted March 4, 2007 Can you give more info on the pink flower one please? It's a trich I assume? What kind? If you don't know the species please describe it i.e. was it pach-like, tersheckii-like, etc?

Rev Posted March 5, 2007 i am in Awe amazing find i hope with respect propagating/pollinating material can be filtered out however this is no young collection... as a matter of some urgency could you please try and pick this dudes brains for where these came from- any history at all to be recorded with it which is normally very much lacking from our own later date collections and sets apart what we can contribute to any study from say- huntington or berkley gardens in the USA with its collection data to assist
