G'day,

I went for a nice walk thorugh the Coastal NSW bushland today with a good mate of mine.

It was great, just a few pics I took along the way. Not great pics coz they were taken on the run.....so to speak.

Not sure if you're aware cos you seem to be focusing on Acacias for some reason...

but photos 3 and 4 are Persoonias.

Slough back that flakey, black bark and it is a vibrant, vivid red underneath.

Your right I was focusing on Acacia's, and the reason is I love em. They allways seem

to catch my eye. All lovely trees and in their natural environment.

Number 2 is most definitely obtusifolia. I just love the look of obtus phyllodes! :drool2:

Yeah they are great and nuber 1 is a significantly larger A. Obtusifolia right next to it :)

I had to shrink the photo so the server would allow it, so it's a little ahrd to make out.

Are you positive they are Acacia obtusifolia ?

and you've got Persoonia levis there

and Acacia suaveolens these have the most amazing smelling flowers in winter lovely small shrub
