just a query as to the common names of the more popular of the trichocereus family.

pachanoi = san pedro

peruvianas = peruvian torch

bridgesii = ?

montrose = ?

just general knowledge verification is all.

p.s. anyone been to peru and met any curanderos that wants to share a story?

Monstrose = TBM or penis cactus, The latin name Trichocereus bridgesii (Echinopsis lageniformis) "inermis"

Bridgesii I just called Bridge-y or TB

Yeah afaik the common name for all varieties of bridgesii (monstrose incl) is achuma or huachuma (depending on locale).

I think i have heard 'Chachuma' used for T.peruvianus

I'm probably wrong though.
