  1. Dicko

    Glaucium flavum

Looking for seeds, plant material and or extract, ive tried an online purchase of extract but I believe ive been ripped off. Any help appreciated, Thanks.
  2. So many plant medicines have an agenda and lessons to teach about itself or the outside world. There is a guiding presence that is quite obvious! I just don't get it with Hawaiian baby woodrose. There is no ancient voice or guidance of the plant. No real agenda on openness and compassion for our planet and each other. For a plant medicine it seems very unguided. I want to help myself and hopefully others to understand the force behind this flower.

  5. Gday guys, I've got loads of acuminata narrow phyllode seed for trade, Im interested in cacti + heaps of other plants + seeds. Please PM with things you have to offer and Ill cut you a deal
  6. Hi everyone, This season I made a few crosses, available here: https://www.aplantis.net/shop/ cheers!
  7. Hi guys, I´ll be giving away some free seeds to my SAB family members here! I´ll limit this giveaway to one type to reduce the the workload for labeling and packing. I´ll give away seed bags of my new Trichocereus pachanoi type from my shop on Trichocereus.net which you can see here. There will be another giveway with Trichocereus tulhuayacensis soon. It´s a beautiful type of Trichocereus that is very variable and can be totally spineless or very spiny. The seeds are fresh from 2015 and I´ll give away one bag per SAB family member. Everyone interested, please send me a pm with the title "Pachanoi giveaway" and your address, including the complete name and the country. I know that most are from Australia but I just want to make sure I dont accidentially send it to some missionaries in Yemen. Please write your address in a way that allows me to print the address on a printable sticker, so I can process this giveaway faster! With that I mean, just write it how you want it to be written on the letter and I´ll copy and paste that. I´ll label the seeds "Trichocereus pachanoi" and declare it as a "cactus seeds" and "gift". Which it is. I cannot use a different label, but it´s a permitted import and all the seeds I send are according to AQUIS and CITES. It´s very possible that seeds are opened, but that´s totally fine as they are perfectly labeled. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks because I´ll have to pack these in between processing my orders and doing EG-stuff. So expect 1-2 months delivery time. If nothing shows after that, just let me know and I´ll send you a replacement. So yeah, bring on the storm. Merry Christmas SAB! bye EG

  12. Hi all, I have some special seeds to get to the right members. 10 seed and soil packs to giveaway. Each pack includes: 10 x Acacia Courtii seed + Rhizobia 10 x Acacia Phlebophylla seed + Rhizobia Due to the scarcity and relative difficulty of germination with these species, I am looking to get these seeds to members who have already developed some propagation skills with this genus (Acacia). Post some pictures here of acacias you have grown from seed (honesty required), doesn't matter what species. If you got the goods (skills) you get the seeds, I will pm you to forward the pack. Terms and conditions: To keep the gifting going and to get these trees out there, members who apply agree to giveaway at least one seedling of each species (if you successfully grow multiples) to a fellow SAB member by posting it on this thread! Open Worldwide
  13. Hello I just joined the forum, ive been lurking here for some time. This seems to be a lovely community I grow some spirit plants myself (Caapi, Psychotria, Brugsmansia, Iboga), although none of them are very old except the Brugsmansias. I want to add Anadenanthera to that list but am not very confident with my growing skills as of yet. I have ordered a number of seeds and was wondering if anyone with experience growing this species has any advice for me. Thanks in advance

    Acacia Seed Giveaway!

Hi all! I'm new to the Corroboree, very pleased to be a part of this great community and I would like to introduce myself with a little give away! One pack of 10 seeds for each of these prominent species of interest is up for grabs. To make it a bit fun, the botanic and a common name must be identified for that species in the image. eg. image J = Acacia Confusa , Formosa Acacia or Rainbow Tree The first person to guess a species correctly wins 10 seeds of that species. Appropriate Rhyzbia will be included with the two granite mountain loving species hint hint. Please only one pack per member who guesses correctly. Further hints may be included if some of the photos prove difficult to ID. Good Luck! Aus only. sorry no post to WA or TAZ
  16. A mate is heading up to remote NT, his family lost a lot of stuff in the recent cyclone, including their gardens Not sure how big a priority their garden rebuild will be overall, but my mate wants to take up some fast growing basic stock, including a couple of favourites. A few NSW locals helping pack together something which will make it past whatever regional quarantine checks are encountered Have specifically been asked for tamarind ( Tamarindus indica ). I heard yesterday that there are Tamarind trees in Darwin already, but my mate won't be stopping there long enough to collect, check, package seed even if it's in season. He's a very basic home veg gardener in Vic and has family concerns uppermost on what will be a long trip with multiple priorities If anyone has any viable, clean Tamarind seed to donate/ trade/ sell, maybe 50 or so, please PM me. It'll be sent here to NSW first so I can ensure labelling and storage is 100% going to not be a hassle for him to travel with and that seed will be viable at the end of it
  17. Hi, I was looking through my seeds and just noticed that a while back i bought some gerardiana seeds. I totally forgot. Anyway, now i have a heat mat and a better collection of sands and materials for propagation and making soils. So, what kind of environment and soil and moisture should i use to get the best possible germination rate? I cant find any seeds anywhere else anymore, so this is my last chance to grow this plant. in case your wondering im not planning on growing it for its ephridrine, i just like growing medicinal and semilegal plants for novelty, but i know i dont have to explain myself here. Anyway, can anyone please help me out?
  18. Ok, heres the jazz i live in a really windy region, for all intents and purposes, its impossble to grow anything that isnt matured outside, because of the harsh sun and intense wind. My problem is that i have seedlings in my seed trays that stop growing after the first week, they never seem to mature beyond their first two seed leaves. actually, nothing really grows well even in potting mix no matter how i go about it, i tried making special mixes but nothing works, not even compost, now im considering using hydroponics stuff, ill just pretend the soil is sand, even though its yates seed raising mix and potting mix. while this applies to nearly all my seedlings, the main issue is with chillis, one time i actually managed to germinate a psychotria viridis but it never went beyond the two leaf stage for several months. then died. So, how do i get soil in which my seeds will germinate and grow into fairly mature plants, which go beyond the initial seedling phase? I need to get them big enough that i can plant them directly into the ground, then they will be fine. unfortunately the soil here is terrible, solid clay, you can make pots out of it its that bad, but, so long as the moisture is regulated, the stuff is amazing for growing with, probably since the land was a cane paddock, then a cow pasture. No matter what i do though, seedlings wont work in it, plants need to be a certain size, i think its because the young roots cant penetrate the clay, or tolerate how the water moves through the soil. at bunnings, they have some chillis ive tried to grow in the same size pots, mine are 3-5cm tall and look awful, while at bunnings, the plant is 30cm tall and bearing fruit, what the hell! I always pay close attention, frequently water in small amounts so as to regulate a moist but not wet soil condition, and decent potting mix but nothing seems to work, its as if im growing my seedlings in cotton. so, what exactly is wrong? How do i fix the issue. the roots never reach the bottom of the tray and there shouldnt be anything wrong with the seed raising mix. Im growing everything in a mini seedling greenhouse with a heated mat for the night cold and to make the chillis sprout better, but the problem was there before i was using the greenhouse.
  19. Hey guys, I love how generous this community is, so I thought i'd throw some love back at ya! I've got about 40 fresh P.carth berries up for grabs, but i'll part with 6 packs of 5[berries] for now until certain. I'd like to send them out as they mature on the plant, which should be within the next week or so. I'll also have a ton of cuttings up for grabs come springtime, which brings me to my question... anyone have any experience with grafting psychotrias? any preferred methods? cleft/ bark/ whip and tongue? Should I be waiting till spring or should I be doing this now? Anyways... First 6 posters send me a PM and i'll get them out as they mature
  20. I'm a bit more settled now but not having much luck striking any cuttings from my one Withania plant so I'm on the look out for seed. Recently got the doc's diagnosis for psoriatic arthritis so looking for any plants that help with the immune system, inflammation etc.. Planning to do a bit of a write up on what I have discovered so far and how it ties in with Aryuveda, Chinese herbalism and Western medical thought. Any species other than Withania somnifera, or different chemotypes would be appreciated. Would be great to get a lot of seed as there isn't anyone growing it here and I would like to spread it through the community. Don't have too much to trade at the moment but I'm pretty sure I have given out a bit of this seed before, if so would appreciate if someone sent a few back to me Trades ( will add more when i remember ) Nicotiana rustica seed Coriaria seed Trichocereus hybrid seed ... or i could draw you a nice picture

    Germinating Iboga Seed in Townsville

Ladies 'n' Gents - I have an Iboga seed pod on the way from SAB to be shared between a friend and I. Both of us are in North Queensland, give or take a couple of hundred km from Townsville. Currently ~30-35° weather has been pretty consistent, although I haven't measured soil temps which according to Torsten tend to be 5-10° lower... What chance do we have of germinating the things in a shade cloth greenhouse or otherwise outdoors-ish? I will do at least some seeds with external heating... should I just suck it up and find a way to heat them all reliably for a fairly long period of time? I have some peltier devices on the way from dx, maybe they could do the trick - anyone tried DIYing it with those? I know iboga seed germination has been covered ad nauseum but reports seem to indicate that results vary WIDELY in different parts of the country. Any advice? cheers! -ef
