    nexus seed give away

ok, some of you would know, I managed to get some seeds, of my nexus plant. all up, hopefully 15 (of the big size) seeds will be produced. I planted 3 already and will plant another 2. so I give away, the other two thirds. I think they ought to go to, rhali and dood and ww, or any other keen person. a funny, thing though, with those seeds, and maybe even the original fruit, which produced the original nexus, expressed the same feature...is..., one seed is, above average size, the other one much, smaller. most of the time, the seeds are of same size within the psychotrias, but sure different sizes are produces as well. i'll pm you, or vice versa. i'll pm you, or the other way round.

    psychotria nexus seeding

i received this nexus plant, and thought by mistake, it was raised from seed. so the people here and the nexus crowd told me, no nexus has set seed yet. this was a while ago, anyway here is a pic of my nexus setting seed, i took today. this psychotria produced fruits, very late in the season.
  3. hi! there are many psychotria nexus plants out in the community, but everybody say's they never produce any seed, so I was surprised to find some in mature seeds, on my nexus plant, a couple of day's ago. this motivated me and I inspected all my viridis very closely, and in doing so, as well spotted some seeds are forming on my moon! but nothing on my shipibo! so this thread is devoted, to pictures and text, regarding which viridis are producing seeds for you. even more important, I believe, SEED PRODUCTION, IS A VERY GOOD additional, IDENTIFICATION TOOL!!!! the common strain, flowers and sets seeds easely and early in the season. the moon, flowers and sets seeds a bit later the nexus, flowers as well late, and seed production is poor. the shipibo, has not flowered yet, in my care. here are the pic's, so who else got nexus seeds, in the making, am I, the first? NEXUS: NEXUS SEED: COMMON LONG LEAVED: COMMON SEED: MOON: MOON SEED: SHIPIBO WIHOUT SEED:

    Any Updates on P. Nexus?

Was just browsing and seen someone on another forum mentioning Psychotria Nexus (old aeb topic) and remembered that a while ago I was quite interested in how this plant would turn out in the long term.I would imagine there'd be more information available now but there hasn't been any discussion since 2011 that I can find. Can anyone give some updates on how their plants are going and, where legal, has anyone tried a brew with nexus? How'd this compare with a plain viridis? Peace.

    Psychotria 'Nexus'

Anyone bought any of these "new" plants...? They are a carth and viridis cross, available from one of the ethno vendors in oz. just curious if anyone has got any and although probably to early to tell, weather there is any benefits from the cross.
  6. About a month ago I took 3 leaf cuttings from this nexus plant: The leaves were cut in half; the bottom halves were dipped in rooting powder and placed in soil with zip lock bag coverings (I gave one of these away at the last QLD meet - whoever has it, check for roots!): The pots were placed in a plastic dish and about 1cm of water was maintained in the dish. The soil would soak up the water and humidify the leaves, never had to mist them. Here are the roots emerging from these bottom sections: The top halves of the leaves were dipped in rooting powder and placed in moistened tissue in a big zip lock bag that sat on my desk inside: A bit of water was poured in every week or so, again no misting require. Roots emerged from these cuttings at exactly the same time as the bottom cuttings: They still have a way to go, but I was surprised that my first attempt at rooting cuttings seems to be successful so far. Guess it helps to live in a relatively warm climate, no artificial heating and misting was required. Seems like a good time of the year to do this if you have psychotria plants!

    Psychotria Viridis or Nexus?

Long time lurker, 1st time poster Just wanted to know if a mate in Peru should grow Viridis or Nexus? Apparently Nexus is fast growing and more magical than Viridis according to one experience report on another forum. I have done plenty of research on Viridis although it's the lack of experience with Nexus among the community or at least the lack of info posted which is making me think twice between the two.
