    Great Dirty Things

I have the following to trade: Schotia brachypetala (seeds and seedlings collected from several trees: one grower called them "great dirty things") Flindersia australis (seedlings) Cereus peruvianus (seeds) In March 2018, I collected seeds from Cereus peruvianus fruits that had ripened and split. The fruit flesh is white, slightly sweet and crystalline. I have sowed a test batch with >80% germination. Please see below for seeds I'm interested in exchange: Chilis (let me know which cultivar/ species) Butia capitata from a tree that produces good-tasting fruit Cereus jamacaru Cereus validus Pilosocereus (let me know which species) Myrtillocactus geometrizans Trichocereus (let me know which cultivar/ species) PM me if interested in swapping (even if you have stuff that is not on my wanted list). Australian residents only. Thanks for your understanding.

    WA Cactus Clear-out

One of my mates is getting rid of a large portion of their ornamental cacti collection, many trichocereus sp. and a few others. For local pickup, cacti come with their pots and soil. For interstate, cacti will be sent bare rooted without pots or soil and postage is unfortunately not available to Tasmania due to quarantine. [Edit: all sold]
  3. I have just dug up & brought home a BIG Myrtillocactus & was wondering if anyone knows how to work out if it is M.geometrizans or M. cochal? I have read that some people class cochal as a variety of geometrizans eg; M. geometrizans var cochal & other class them as different species. Anyway I have looked through 100's of photos of both M.geo & M.coch & I am thinking I have M.cochal, I am basing this off the spine length & density & have come to this conclusion simple by looking at photos because I can not find any paperwork describing the differences. Help on working this out would be great! Here are a few photos. Cheers jox
