  1. I grew this from seed that I took off a plant that was growing around sydney somewhere. It smells like lime, very nice. I thought it might be some type of Plectranthus. Needs ID, Thanks in advance.
  2. I took the photos late in the afternoon so the flowers are closed. It produces lots of seeds per flower & like to grow in sand. I've looked everywhere & cannot ID it. Anyone know what it is?

    ID help please

Hi All, I found this growing in my vege garden this morning. It is 10 cm diameter and weighs 50 grams, has blue staining on the stem and some can be seen where the cap has split in the picture. Can anyone give any advice? peace cornilius maximus
  6. Hi I recently acquired a large cactus with 4 trunks, standing 3.5m tall. Tried my best to move it whole but proved too difficult so I have had to make cuttings. I think it is a trichocereus but am confused of what type. It looks different to my other trichocereus pachanoi. There are spines on the bottom sections of the plant, with the spines becoming much smaller up the trunk, and being spineless for the new growth. There is a little bit of fur around the areoles at the base of the plant and around the new pup that is just forming. Here are some photos of the base, including the new pup that is forming: Here are some photos of upper sections of the plant: All help appreciated! Thanks.

    Id help? subs, maybe?

Hi guys, first post on these forums I found a few little mushrooms on my sisters property in stoneyford, about 20 minutes drive west of colac. The forest where I found them is made up of mostly gum and blackwood trees. I found multiple small patches mostly between rocks in low lying damp areas. They are only small, the biggest one I found had a cap about the size of a 50 cent coin. The stems are all fairly thin and the gills are a yellowish colour. The colour of the caps look the same as most pictures of subs I've seen and the stems bruised blue. The only thing different from the description of subs on these forums are that the stems are really thin, rather then the thick meaty looking ones I have seen photos of. I've never taken shrooms before and only know what i have read on these forums so I'm a bit wary of them. I'l post a picture, any help would be appreciated . Thanks guys.
  13. I visited a once thriving but now decrepit nursery a couple of weeks ago just to take a peek. There were stands of rotting pachanoi and terscheckii, but in the rotting and bug infested mess I managed to find a couple of interesting things that were not there last time or were not for sale before. Unfortunately the knowledgeable owner is not longer there so I couldn't ask him about the origins of the plants. I'd love to hear the expert opinion on these. 1) I'm almost 100% certain of the origin of this one: a California wholesale nursery which does a lot of volume. My best guess is T. peruvianus. 2) No clue on the origin of this one. It was in the middle of a rotting stand (5 m x 10 m) of PC in a blistering greenhouse lying on the floor. A longer spined pachanoid?

    (Supposedly) Acacia ID

Hey there, I was hoping that someone would be able to identify this; whatever it is! In regards to distribution etc it was grown by a nursery on the Gold Coast here, and that's all I know. If you could give me ANY general hint that'd be awesome! EH

    Could you ID this Please

Ok so I know what to look for but there is so much variation in shrooms it's hard to tell if I have something Poisonous, hallucinogenic or something edible but this is my dilemma. Well more hopes and dreams. So I found these in my front yard, now to me it looks like psilocybe cubensis (gold tops). But these are my issues, so they say that they should grow in and around cow pats now I’m sure it can also be in just grazed land where crap is been. But I don’t have my front yard mowed by a cow, but I am in a new estate and I am sure that the land I am on was previously crapped on by cow constantly. They also have gold tan top, darker in the centre and lightens out to an almost white near the edge. Their gills are almost white when they first come up and change to a tan colour then a brown to a rusty brown I suppose. The spores are a dark red brown. The smell is like fresh mushrooms. Oh and the most important thing is that it does not turn blue when pinched, BUT they are also quite waterlogged I'll just post the pics, I hope! I have never used a forum before Thank you
