    wanted: ephedra seeds

I give that mixture I listed on 'potent sedative herbs' to my friends that have asthma/allergies/swelling in their feet. It works excellent. But Cordyceps will work better than Ganoderma for all this, also don't underestimate Shou Wu (Fallopia multiflora). I think Paul Stamets capsules would do good also, Agarikon, Chaga, Maitake etc have amazing properties also. Artists conk (Ganoderma applanatum ) grows everywhere in Australia and is easy to source if you want to save cash. Also Fomitopsis pinicola is easy to pick from the wild and cultivate. Options are endless. I don't bother with growing Ephedra myself so you can have my seeds if you want, I just use Sida cordifolia.

  5. JCMMa if you practice in a quiet private place once a day for 30min you can get very clear images and travel where ever your will takes you, just practice sending energy to one hand 1st till you can feel the blood/energy inside it, then do the other hand, then each foot one after the other & then do the same to your head/mind. This might take a week or so before you get familiar with it but once you can use your will to send energy to your mind and the images in your minds eye become as clear as when your looking though your eyes. Be careful of leaving your body lying in one spot for too long though, it hurts! Makes holidays cheap though

Has anyone noticed how LSD was blamed for Syd Barret's metal condition when doctors were also giving him Methaqualone. Seems to me like prescription drugs are more likely to blame.

Vandals take axe to Botanic Gardens (VIC)

Strange how so many people are getting around nowadays that seem to enjoy seeing other people suffer. I think it is because these people are absent from any positive emotions so they get envious when they see others happy, therefore they try to drag others emotions down around them. It is like a disease that is spreading from the Cities outward. Webcams are very cheap and a simple computer system is all that is needed to control them, why doesn't the Gardens around Australia invest in some video surveillance? Why doesn't the Gardens have better back up plans just in case this type of thing happens?

    Problems at work, advice wanted

Geez, that's rough. Hope they just don't have much work at the moment and they call you up soon. Hi Jox, I read your post above. It does sound like you have been treated very unfairly and the mob you were working for have not completed their duty of care in firstly, making sure you had completed the induction training module before you lifted a finger for them and also they are bastards for not caring for you while you were unwell because of their negligence and 1930's attitude to duty of care and workers comp rights. I am just a lay person not a lawyer but I have worked in personal injury practices for some 10 years, I know there are lawyers that you can see where your first consultation is free, I suggest Maurice Blackburn lawyers - they are everywhere or Slater & Gordon lawyers - they also have offices all over. I don't understand how anyone can be put on unpaid leave unless you are on salary, and from memory the only people who are put on unpaid leave are put there as disciplinary action like police officers and the like. If I have learned anything from working with lawyers for the last 20 years there is usually a way around a problem (my partner -leaves - just said 'even if it involves a spear gun and grenades') I strongly suggest you speak with a personal injury specialist as outlined above - I know both these firms are and no I don,t work for either of them, but have dealt with them from other firms - I know they are very good at what they do. In the meantime, if I were you I would find another job but write every detail of dates, names, etc you can remember and get any copies of medical certificates or notes you can from your former employer and their doctors and contact WorkCover. If WorkCover cant do anything at least your employers name will run through WorkCover - it might raise some interest with them as it sounds like they have probably done this type of thing before and someone else would probably have complained about their malpractice. Cheers Gumnut

    Galbulimima bioassays

There is 2 mature examples of this tree growing close to my place. I have looked everywhere for when the fruit are supposed to appear and cannot find any details. Does anyone here know flowering/fruiting times?? I was guessing around October but I am not sure. Has anyone tried the dried leaves before? I can easily get lots of dried leaves off the ground but don't want to go damaging the tree by scraping bark off the trunk, I would prefer to get some fruit and grow them myself and plant some of them back out into the bush, seeing how it is a rare tree. edit: It flowers in September

    Problems at work, advice wanted

Sad to hear Jox, I myself would always do as I'm told especially on worksites/jobs that I don't know everyone well at yet. Being ex-Navy I have found it is the easiest/least stressful way. The OH&S standards in the Navy are off the chart and if you breach any of them you & who ever is in charge can get charged with extra work or they take some of your pay. Sunchaser if you don't enjoy your job have you looked into Test & Tag? A one day course can be done and there is lots of big companies around to work for or even better still get your own test equipment and you can make a decent wage. I was charging $2.85 a tag in Sydney (cheapest around) and it takes under 2min per test. If you get big office contracts your laughing.

    Yellowing Cacti

Does anyone see any problem with me using Dynamic Lifter & fresh worm juice on my succulents/cactus? I have used it in the past during spring/summer and they seem to grow and flower well, but I was worried I could give them some disease or something from the bacteria in the dynamic lifter/worm juice.

    Yellowing Cacti

Some of the faster growing ones when in pots I just feed them as I would any pot plant during summer. I was surprised how vigorous some species can be ie trichocereus.

  19. The history of mankind is completely backwards. Our brains operate at only a fraction of the speed it did thousands of years ago, we forgot how to operate the 'super advanced technology' that is the Earth, while at the same time trying to pull matter to pieces to try and understand with the mind what our feeling have known all along. Compassion and tolerance for all religions and beliefs will be of great help to all of us

    Ganoderma Coffee

The Asian supermarkets sell Gano coffee/Longjack coffee etc but the dosage in the pre-packet things is way too low to feel anything. Just my experience with them (and what the little asian herbalists gestured to me).
  21. Strange to have Ephedra in the mix when quitting opioids your brains epinephrine sky rockets. Chinese red date = ziziphus. Interesting mixture, thanks for sharing toast
