Hey guys, so my biggest greenwastes in the yard are acacias and Aya vine! The acacias are awesome at compost but does anyone have any experience or theories about the Aya vine? I'm assuming it will be ok and have a big leafmulch pile of it accumulating pretty fast but wanted to throw it in the thermo piles. cheers

Hello all. I've been having some arthritis issues the last 5 years, with a long family history. My rheumatoid levels have been very high and also very normal over the last 12months and my doctor is hesitant to start ANY form of treatment. I used to be able to drink or smoke to keep up with it, now it's not even touching the sides and is a habit I don't want to keep. Sleep only happens during the pass out period and once the beer wears off at 2am it's eyes wide open. The last 3 nights I have stopped drinking and tried reasonable doses of baclofen, Valium and codeine (all prescribed to me in the past) and nothing helped. What im getting at is its clear to me I need an anti inflammatory to help with the join my pains, some of which are slightly debilitating and starting to effect my work skills. Short of being turned down after the 4 visit, various blood tests and X-rays, he still insists I have tendinitis, RSI and suffer from the cold. Ps aspirin and the like do not work What can I buy over the counter or from overseas (that won't get my arrested) to help? Pain meds don't help so please none of these suggestions! thanks for putting up with my winge and thx in advance for any advice

Not that I've grown a heap of edibles but the gypsum peat casing is pretty standard and I've used it a few times experimenting. The soy meal thing was new to me too. I'm getting ready to grow some woodlovers and straw lovers in the autumn period and am starting to research better substrates. Soy and alfalfa are two meals that keep popping up and seem to be used at 5-20% depending who's Grow log you read. I was going to swap out the gypsum in a few recipes for powdered shellgrit too and see how that goes. I'm just trying to use what's on hand in my supplies.. RE the soybeans she is sorta correct, most of it is GMO... for example I cannot purchase organic non gmo meals in australia as there is no demand for them. So the majority of these by products are produced from GMO crops. The GMOs all vary, some are roundup ready some have say BT inserted for pest resistance. The only meal that didn't pass my microbe tests (aka would beneficials microbes digest them fast) was cotton meal. It got rancid before anything went near it. Even EM1 (patented beneficial microbes) didn't really grow onto it... every other meal has been fine and has been munched by microbes and fungus. I would personally stick with your girlfriend and avoid roundup ready crops ;) there are complete lists online regarding which Aussie crops are gmo and what there gmo is /fuck that was a sidetrack and a half -

ground cover (plastic and such) not plants
theuserformallyknownasd00d replied to godless's topic in Cacti & Succulents
Is your black plastic / weedmat plus wood chips an option? It's pretty standard across a lot of nursury sites I've visited. -
You probably haven't lined the graft up properly with the vascular rings, whereas the one that boomed was lined up
