    aphex twin

Aphex twin played a big day out a few years ago now, and did the same thing (lay down with laptop) i think back then he was pushing the faceless electronic idea, where you would get records and not know where they came from or who made them, but these days his face is all over everything?
  2. i'm not sure if these are useful or not, but have a couple of these native Psycotrias for trade or sale if anybody is interested, they look like a furry viridis, nice looking little plants

    Butane revisited

combined with lsd you only use a small fraction of the amount you would usually for a better result, so perhaps this combination would be safer? (relatively)

    Young seedgrown Trich grafting?

yes, i tried this with a small peruvianus seedling this year, i chose a multi branched one cut them both off (stock and plant to be grafted), put the piece to be grafted on to the centre of the vascular tissue of the T pachanoi stock and balanced an upside down jar on top, took the jar off after a few days and it was done!

    salvia flowering

yeah it's kind of like salvia splendens, i haven't seen the flowers properly yet, i'm near the city in sydney, so it doesn't get that cold, but this is what hbwr did last year flowered late and gave up on it

    salvia flowering

i have a salvia with lots of flower buds but the temps here are declining daily, what should i do? move it into the minimal sun there is, bring it inside, or leave it alone? i'd hate to see them decide it's too cold and give up.

    macro??

i too have something like that, i think it lies somewhere in the broad stroke between macrogonus and peruvianus and is absolutely incredible for any practical applications.

    pachanoi potency

i just meant that seeing as they get cut so much for alkaloids, producing more when cut is like an incentive to chop them, but also an encouragement for people to propagate them.
  12. toby

    perennial daturas?

thanks for that i'll have to give them a try!

    perennial daturas?

i'm not sure which species this would include, but would be willing to trade or pay if i don't have anything you would like, thankyou.

    pachanoi potency

perhaps a better defense mechanism for pachanoi would be to destroy alkaloids when they are cut, if they actually produce more it wouldn't seem to be a very effective deterrent(unless the attacker were simply thirsty). it does seem though to be an effective survival mechanism,

    pachanoi potency

by weight the potency would have increased, if it grew for 2 months the potency may decrease, but you would have more of what you wanted in total. hope that makes sense

    cactus being eaten by something

hi, it sounds like a small caterpillar type thing that burrowed through a loph graft into the core of the trich it was joined to, i just kept slicing till i found it still eating, i found another going down the centre of new growth on p.viridis. i should have kept one to get an id on, but at the time i was too freaked out, this was in early spring and i haven't seen any since.

    globular cacti de-graft

yes, orange rot on trich's is really bad resulting in orange porridge type mess, but the reddish rust type surface that appears usually on already healed flesh seems to be indifferent at worst.
  19. i read (from memory) that they import 6 tonnes a year (coca) and use it only for flavouring as opposed to the original recipe, i think it's in pharmacotheon but i don't have it here to check.

    Customs grrrr!

that would really be a WHOLE lot of seeds, that affair in the uk with ricin etc, earn't the front page of the paper in sydney and a seperate article discussing extractions of poisons from plants, which could also be bad news given the classifications some plants are earning.

    drugs v meditation

i think i read the software thing in the happy high herbs mission statement, like with a lock and key the experience is behind a door in your brain, but it seems more like the information? comes chemically, just like you said really,quote-the brain obviously remembers something, but the expeerience is like a memory ov tripping- not fully fleshed out.

    drugs v meditation

As a 'wet computer' designer wouldn't it make sense to have a facility to allow the many PC's to tap back to base to the great grand daddy supercomputer, rather than have each pc store universal knowledge?Perhaps drugs(I hate that word) provide that link for a moment.quote from dolikilt(spelling may be incorrect)in the dragonfyre thread of this forum.

    drugs v meditation

I see the entheogens of this earth as keys, they all unlock the door to some part of our brain which we have not used before.from mesqualero, i think i like the software analogy better than the lock and key one, with the lock and key idea yeah the chemicals seem unused by the plants, waiting for a human to use them to unlock a door in their head, the software analogy implies something intrinsic(within the chemical), which may be compatible with various physiological formats.

    chroming

As a 12 or 13 year old many years ago in a city no access to any real nature a little short of family, confused and kind of violent, i felt myself drawn to butane? reason unknown my first try just happened to be a full blown crystal clear psychedelic experience {not using the term loosely}i understood reality existed as layers, learnt of a spirit world. i tried again many times in the next few years but only broke through a couple of times, {a few years later i tried it with acid and could barely hold on} before butane i think i would have been considered at risk ,alcoholism, opiate addiction, delinquency etc. i was pretty sure butane was on the market for people like me , i even think it told me so, i wondered why there were so many shops selling butane when everybody used disposable lighters, avils were another important teacher in the concrete jungle, i wondered why they came in packs of 50 when the recommended dose was around 1 tablet? if i had been old enough to get into a bar and german i may have been that guy in berlin, i've tried pot a few times and 1 or two cones has me vommiting and genuinely worried about possibly dying .
