I'll grab a pack #2 if any left? Legend! Will pm now :-)

Pretty great idea, and a bit more professional than how I currently go about this... Usually I'll just wrap whatever in foil, then oven bag it, then pc.. When ready to use, spray down oven bag, remove contents and unwrap etc.. But it gets messy.. I like this idea of yours!

A PUBLIC execution of a random Australian was designed to shock the community, a Sydney court has heard. Details of the alleged plot have emerged as the first man charged after this mornings terror raids has appeared in Sydney Local Court on one charge to act in preparation/planning for terrorist attack. Read more: http://www.news.com.au/national/australian-terror-raids-afp-asio-move-on-suspected-terrorists/story-fncynjr2-1227062204389 Anyone else think that this is all just political bullshit? Or am I just on the conspiracy wagon due to too much internet?

That Kung po chicken does sound pretty damn good!

Do you think that this "terrorism" threat will get people behind the metadata storage plans since no one was really too keen on the idea before.. I bet the masses will jump on it now.. Also seems on (most mainstream) news sites, people are lovin abbot for this bullshit.. What a bunch of morons we (Australians) can be.

Hard to choose a recipe when I have chilli in almost everything, but I'll post one of my favourites. It's really just an improved (my opinion) version of vegetarian kofta balls. If you've had them at hare Krishna restaurants before, these are them... But waaay better! Sauce: 1/4 cup of olive oil 3 large garlic cloves 1/2 an onion 1 large carrot 1.5 kg fresh tomatos 1-2 tablespoons tomato paste 1/4 cup of basil 2 teaspoons of sugar 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt or enough to taste 3 fresh bay leaves 1/4 cup of diced chillis, half dry, half fresh is good, I usually chuck in a few habaneros. While heating the oil, crush and dice the garlic and onion, chuck it in and fry while you chop the carrot into 8 pieces. Throw the carrot in and fry for 30 seconds. Pour in the 1.5 kg of tomato that you conveniently diced earlier, and add the bay leaves. Mix. Throw in half of the basil, the pepper, salt and sugar. Mix. Add chillies. Mix. Bring all to boil, then reduce heat and simmmer. Usually I'll start on the balls... The Kofta balls, while the sauce cooks down into a thick chutney by the time it's all ready. Towards the end, around the time the balls are almost ready throw in the rest of the basil. add tomato paste if it feels like it's "missing something" or add extra salt/ sugar depending on what that "something is" Kofta balls: 2 cups grated cauliflower 2 cups grated cabbage (reds good but any'll do) 1 1/2 cups bean flower (any flower works) 2 cloves diced garlic 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 hing 1 teaspoon garam masala 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon corriander powder 1 teaspoon turmeric Decent amount of cayenne powder Ghee or oil for shallow/ deep frying (butter/ oil combo works good too) Mix the grated cabbage and cauliflower in a large bowl (they both HAVE to be grated, only way it holds together). Mix the flour and all other spices in another bowl then mix the 2 bowls together, a butter knife works well to do this. Use wet hands to roll into about 20 balls, about the size of a ping pong ball. Shallow or deep fry until golden brown, remove from oil and pour sauce over top. Garnish with some diced fresh corriander and chillies if your keen.

Hey guys, I love how generous this community is, so I thought i'd throw some love back at ya! I've got about 40 fresh P.carth berries up for grabs, but i'll part with 6 packs of 5[berries] for now until certain. I'd like to send them out as they mature on the plant, which should be within the next week or so. I'll also have a ton of cuttings up for grabs come springtime, which brings me to my question... anyone have any experience with grafting psychotrias? any preferred methods? cleft/ bark/ whip and tongue? Should I be waiting till spring or should I be doing this now? Anyways... First 6 posters send me a PM and i'll get them out as they mature

Free P. carthagenensis Berries (fresh) + question
fydesvindico replied to fydesvindico's topic in Seed & Plant Swaps
Yeah, I remember seeing something on herbalistics along the lines of "good grafting stock" etc. I've been meaning to give it a try for years now, but finally have the time/motivation to give it a go. I'm looking at grafting viridis onto carth stock, The carth plants/trees I have are about 4 -5 years old now and are extremely large and hardy, I barely take notice of them.. they tend to look after themselves. I've a few varieties of viridis I'd like to give a go at grafting onto the carth, so am pretty keen. I left these plants with a friend while I was moving around a bit, but have them back now. He reckons they've flowered and seeded consistently since I left them with him about 3 years ago now! So I definitely know where your coming from with the amount of seed these guys throw out! He didn't care much for them, so I've got about a good 50 seedlings that have self seeded in the large pot they were in too! too much carth!- 13 replies

challenge: find nature's wheel
fydesvindico replied to ThunderIdeal's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
The only plant that I can think of that makes use of wheel technology, particularly my bicycle wheels, but also the soles if my feet is tribulus terrestris, aka bindii's haha.. But I will continue to scratch my head over this one.. I'm interested in finding out what your talking about- 21 replies

If you near a bunnings I've noticed them stocking mature, grafted plants recently. I've been meaning to pick one up for a while but get side tracked with some of their other interesting fruits they've been getting in. Got a huge feijoa the other day, was so stoked!

Edit* just re-read this post, didn't realise how rude my reply was. Sorry, must have been in a bad mood that day haha! Keep scouting, gotta learn somehow

Zanthoxylum simulans/ schinifolium (Szechuan pepper)
fydesvindico posted a topic in Seed & Plant Swaps
Anyone have/ know where to find these in Australia? Would prefer seedlings/ established plants, but would settle for seeds if anyone knows of a supplier in oz. Otherwise does anyone know anything about importing these seeds? Since the dried peppercorns are found in almost every Chinese grocer, I couldn't imagine having any issues with bringing seed in from overseas? -
Mate, Didn't mean it in that way at all... But feel your concern... Just looking for like minded people in the neighbourhood. As ya do *edited* trying to explain oneself
