how often are you watering these guys? are they under shade? I'm no expert but your mimosa might benefit from minimal watering.

Hi Santiago, there is certainly a meaning to the poem but it is always up to the reader how they like to interpret it. When i wrote it i liked to think of the "second prophet" as myself only in a differant conciousness... So you are both prophets, you hold the key to your destiny, truth is not hidden in shadows it can be hidden in your mind... etc It really is a simple poem but when i start to work back thru it and show you what it means from my point of view it loses its grip on you. i'm sorry it drove you crazy for a while

No i haven't but i will chase it up. I like to write things that make people stop and think, and hopefully a line or 2 lingers with them for the day.

Callistemon Viminalis (Bottlebrush)
dr dognutz replied to Echelon's topic in Australian Native Plants
Im pretty sure that this tree was used by the aboriginals as an antibacterial for cuts an things like that... you could make a bear grylls style cuppa tea by dunking in the flower and getting some of that nector in your brew i suppose. lol -
my thinking is that as humans we began to not need as much "fur" after the invention of fire or maybe after the last ice age when the climate started to warm the less hairy humans adapted quicker. or maybe..... damn you Rabaelthazar now you've got me pondering
