Symbiate

Thanks guys, I'm hopeless at both identification and terminology for such plants so I appreciate the help. Time for a few hours on Wikipedia and Google...

I recently had a spiky specimen pop up in my garden, spiky in terms of the arrangement of the grains on the end of each stem. Had no idea what it was or where it had come from, but I recently noticed the same grass growing at a nearby lake so no doubt I can thank a bird or two for planting mine . Can anyone identify it for me? Is it native?

It could be related to his sleeping position. Sleeping on your back instead of your stomach/side can reduce the incidence of migraines.

I personally pos/neg a post when I feel that it adds to/detracts from the entire thread. I don't do it to make someone feel good or bad about their comment necessarily; I do it for others who will come looking for good, constructive discussion and information in the future.

I've had this problem ever since I started streaming content wirelessly to my PS3, with multiple routers. I tried increasing the buffer size in PS3 Media Server, however it didn't help. The greatest bottleneck in my system is probably the computer that holds all my media files and runs the PMS, as it is very old and has quite a low amount of memory. I find that when I run the media server off of my laptop instead, it hardly ever skips. So one option is to make sure the computer that is streaming the files is relatively new. Another option is to buy an external hard drive for all your media, and just plug it into your PS3. If you want to do this, make sure the drive is formatted correctly. If I remember correctly, the PS3 doesn't like certain formats.

The last few photos were taken in bushland around 15km from the ocean, however Perth's coastal plain spans 30km across. The soil in Perth changes dramatically from location to location. Less than 1km from the where the last photo was taken, I found an area with hundreds of woodlovers and vastly different soil. It always keeps things interesting when exploring a new area .

Most of these were found in the north and north-eastern suburbs.
