Good. I wish they'd do a better job though, the general population still scares the shit out of me.

Hi! I'm just curious what the best way to dry out phyllodes for longtime preservation is. I'm interested in the phyllodes being preserved with no loss or change to any organic matter. My first thought was to put them into a dehydrator, could that damage the structure of the molecules within the phyllodes? I want the preserved leaves to be as scientifically accurate as possible. Is air drying sufficient? Thanks! edit: really stupid spelling mistake

Anyone want to speculate on what this all means? DMT used in cell growth, or perhaps DMT is the metabolite of something more useful used in cell growth? This based on it being found in a cancerous cell. Now they've worked out some more metabolites of DMT they can look for those and perhaps find where DMT is supposedly sythesized? I read a lot of people talking about how DMT is not endogenous, all the other studies were too old, too bad, etc. Is this a smoking gun? I mean the study lists a few references to DMT being produced endogenously, "In addition to DMT, 5-hydroxy-DMT (bufotenin, HDMT) and 5-methoxy-DMT (MDMT) have been reported as endogenous substances in humans. Mcllhenny et al. [40]"

The birds nest fungi is fairly common... just ridiculously tiny that 99.9% of the world would walk right past it. First time I saw one I flipped! One of the most unique type of fungi i've ever seen.

Anyone have any links to the hardest corroboree music? I want to hear some filthy stick hitting. -
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 22-pound house cat attacked a baby inside a Portland house Sunday, forcing the family and a dog to barricade themselves inside a bedroom. The Barker family called 911 shortly before 8 p.m., officials said, but said the baby did not need medical attention. The 911 operator stayed on the phone and could hear the cat, Lux, screeching in the background. “Every time we opened our back bedroom door the cat would hiss,” said owner and mom Teresa Barker. She admitted the baby’s father hit Lux after the baby was scratched but said he was merely being protective.

I don't understand what fining them $1500 is meant to do? I could cop a $1500 fine for something without batting an eye... I wonder what Santos considers $1500 to be.

New VIC laws give police powers to disperse protests and arrest people for breaching a move-on order

Controversial new laws giving police unprecedented powers to disperse protests have passed Victoria’s lower house. Sounds like anti-doofing laws to me. -

From personal experience i'd say that sort of reaction to urine is unusual, or your urine is unusual. I pee on my cacti when I haven't fed them in awhile, not directly onto but around the base, no ill effects ever noticed. I don't pee much around each plant, just try to go for a few seconds in each pot.
