    Tricho peru crests EBAY

Managed to pick this one up as a second chance offer for $250 which I'm pretty happy with. Got beaten on the less desirable one at $277 (50 over my declared limit). Top quality plant.

    Cactus clone sale, 17 varieties

Many thanks and much respect to the supplier of the finest Trich cuts in Oz
  4. Greeting readers. Yeah I bought a 3 X 2.4m extruded aluminum frame and polycarbonate sandwich from a mob on 3bay along with a staging kit, automatic vent openers and delivery for $1250. Absolute nightmare to put together but 30 hours, 5 stitches and a lot of cussing later and she's solid as a rock bolted to a similarly sized slab of concrete. For what it is I reckon that it was good value, well-designed and well-braced against wind. What's your budget? I reckon you'd need the 4.3 X 2.4m variety for your ambitious plans. Is the area going to get sun when its arcing low in winter? Are you going to lay a slab? You'll probably need to if you've got pumps and electricity going around. I never thought about using naturally-lit hydroponics in a greenhouse. I'll be interested to hear how it goes. You can see little bits of my greenhouse behind the cactus

    T.terscheckii Xruby visions

If anyone's interested in seeing a more developed specimen... It looks like the Ruby Visions part of the hybrid is more traditionally Echinopsis, Rebutia or Lobivia-like due to the globose, clumping growth form seen instead of the columnar nature of the mighty Terscheckii. Am expecting a massive ruby-coloured dinnerplate flower...

Yeah I reckon it's gonna be a bit of a slugfest... I can still taste the disappointment from last time but was glad to hear you got it, PD. Was it watertrade that snaffled the other one?

    greenhouses

I recently purchase and put together a 3 x 2.7m extruded aluminium and polycarbonate greenhouse purchased from bloomroom on ebay. Got it delivered with a full staging kit for about $1200. Took me about 20 hours of work and sliced open my finger when literally doing up the last nut on the dynabolts into the slab. Have had to seal up the drafty base with sand as actually had frost damage on caapi and psychotrias inside near the door although that was a Canberran -4. I'd recommend the one I bought but be prepared for an ongoing nightmare jigsaw puzzle experience putting it together...

    T. peruvianus crest

Yeah well done for winning the bid on #2. I bid up to $120 the night before and was blown away when I saw the finishing price at work the next day. I guess the $200 I paid last year for a variegated icaro peruvian from Darren @ Herbalistics has been and will continue to be worth it... It's that one in a thousand that makes them so valuable and desirable! How many seedlings must this seller have germinated to get 2 cristate specimens or is there a trick to it?
