    Having a sook to strangers

Mate I feel for you , I have had rather severe back pain associated with a bulging L5. It was intermittent for years until 2 years ago when it decided to hang around permanent style. It can really make one miserable. I've been taking Celebrex and the max daily of Tramadol. I have to say whilst Tram does not take away my pain it helps and on top of that is a fantastic mood stabiliser. There's a lot of talk online with regards to it being used as an antidepressant. I have also found that I have not had issues with reduction in Tramadol dosing, simply means my pain levels increase but I have noticed no withdrawal type effects that many complain of. What is most interesting of late is I finally bit the bullet and started to take lyrica as well after being told to by 3 different docs to do so.I just didn't want to be taking another med. Turns out the stuff is pretty damn good so far, has reduce my pain considerably and I've only been taking it for a couple of weeks at low dose. It also appears to be useful for generalised anxiety and apparently can aid in sleep. read up on Pregabalin it's interesting stuff. Only side effect so far for me is the occasional dry mouth but that's a sweet trade for the pain reduction. I actually had little faith in the stuff but so far so good.
  11. Just thought I would ask , Nitogen when are Zellys hybrids coming out??!?
  12. Matey I would absolutely love some of your crosses, I have been lucky enough to receive some of your plants from other members who grew some of your earlier hybrids, same as Berengar my heart rate seriously went up when I saw your post!

Sry for my absence and some finds from today

Does anyone know if there are laws about how many mushrooms one can take? Similar thing to bag limits in fishing. I had never thought about it until now. I know there are laws with regard to take of wildflowers. Anyone?
  16. Mate of mine put me onto Wickr. I know little about this kind of thing and want some others opinions on it use and effectiveness.
  17. Jez Sally it sounds like you really know your way around a network/computer.
  18. From what they say part of the key to break down the cryptography stays on the users phone. So access to the phone it self would be needed. But I find it hard to believe that's not possible. Reading reviews there was a bit of a deal made of the fact that one of the developers was approached by the cia I think to install a backdoor and they told the cia to walk, so they say.

    Myco friends in Perth

Mate I'm in Perth. I need to learn more than I know when it comes to Mycology but can show him some places like the gymno spot I just post photos of in WA Gyms. I don't go on hunts much but then I don't know people who are keen. I just did few hunts in Thailand and have some greats pics to make a post with as soon as I've got over some uni work I have to do myself. Will PM you in the next day.

Yes mate here till the 22 nd, then have a bunch of work to do before uni starts again. I hear there is plenty of subs down that way now. I want to take a look down there myself but have not had the time. It can be hard work finding them down there. The easy places to get to get so hammered these days, it sucks.
  24. It has just started raining here, very dry start to the wet season. Had a dream last night about finding a bunch of mushrooms last night and these were across the road. Going back to a big lake that had about 30 Buffalo crapping everywhere the other day, hope to get a few more interesting pics on that walk. Anyone know what these are?

The lake I am talking about is out near Nong Bua Lam Phu. I only saw small long boats and heaps of large bamboo structures to lift fishing nets out of the water. Where did you mean Mesq? Always down for boat party but can't imagine they have them where I am talking about. THP Udon is nice, smaller than Chiang Mai and you could get by with no Thai but it would be helpful if you spoke some. My girlfriend lives here and some of her friends speak some English but not that well. A lot of people speak none. I speak a bit of Thai so which makes things a bit easier. Great idea on the buffalo farm. I tried to find one in Udon but online only read about the Chiang Mai one. There must be one around. I know cubes do occur up here asx I have spoken to locals , there is both the Pans and Cubes. The farmer said no( mai) have( mee). In other words don't eat. I have asked about them specifically and revived the same answer from various age groups usually with a knowing smile. Everyone up here seems to know of them. How long are you in Thailand for?
