No, not in bondage at present. At this point we don't have to report on our neighbours to the "proper" authorities. It is not too far away though.

I would suggest to try and put aside emotion and use your brain. Yes you may love her, but you need to see the reality that, you can't stay there for an extended period of time and for her to study here would also cost a lot and the parents would probably forbid it. I think the relationship is doomed, so you might as well live it up together for the period of time you have available. Have fun, go on road trip, etc Just might add - yes she will find someone(s) else when she goes to college even if it is Brigham Young University. Good Luck

I believe is is was historian Alexander Tytler who states that nations/ states go through various cycles in its history, he said they seemed to follow the same trend. He states “From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.” While it seems to me that we occupy the areas of complacency, apathy and dependence at the same time. I do see bondage to be our future in 10-15 years time.

From memory they are not watched. Sodium bromide can be found in pool shops for hot tubs and Potassium Bromide is used in photography.

Money may not buy happiness, but I can buy a ton of stuff that will make me happy.

Interesting vid. The first 16 minutes set the background and last part explains the illegitimacy of the current tax system.

Can anyone help me out getting started with some cacti
mr me replied to fermentedfrog's topic in Seed & Plant Swaps
If you want to get started with any type of cacti, then why not try your local nursery. I understand that you might want to grow something more "interesting", but it is probably a cheap way to learn about cacti and the nursery staff can provide you with information, etc. -
Demineralized water should be fine if you are lacking rain. There are quite a few plants that are calciphobes - don't like calcium. I don't know about Coles water, it probably comes from a tap anyways.

I think the government should mind their own business. The government has plenty of land holdings and they should be planting trees on that land rather then spending money on surveillance.

Good find, thanks for the pics. Next time you should place a well known item (coke can) for a size reference in one of the pics.

There are a few sites around that people can give pill reports about what they have bought. Many of the reports seem to come to the conclusion that what they are getting is not MDM@, but MDXX or other crap.

Coca has been used by man for thousands of years and has proven to be totally safe. Coffee has been a drink for centuries as well. Both become more "toxic" when man gets involved. Personally I see coffee as a bit more civilized, I'm not a fan of spitting.

I personally think that once the US decides to change, Australia will follow shortly afterward. There has been decades of prohibition and some times I think it will never change, but then before you know it - its legal. I think that Portugal has done a good job by actually taking care of addicts and not just dumping them on the streets, that makes a huge difference.

Cambodia destroys tonnes of oil used to make ecstasy
mr me replied to Chiral's topic in News & Notices
What a waste, the oil should have been sold to a legitimate company and the profits used to regenerate forest regions or to pay for more rangers. Using this as some PR campaign about the "evils" of ecstasy is typical drug war crap. -
Eventually.. They make a lot of money from alcohol tax, governments only care about getting re-elected and having lots of money to spend on buying votes. It does not make too much sense to screw around too much, but you could say that about many things they mess up, when it was obvious that they should not have fiddled with it in the first place.
