    amanitas.... again, i know

Hey all, I am sure this sort of thing has been covered ad nauseum in the past (though if not, wahey!), but is there any convenient way to get one's hands on some amanita muscaria or pantherina in aus? I have heard that it grows wild over east, but even getting the wild psilocybes in WA has become a more risky venture, with cops (apparently) being ever-vigilant for those iconoclastic mushie-hunting bastards... I recently watched a lecture called the "Pharmacratic Inquisition" available to download off the net (40mB Real; if you haven't seen, get it) and find myself intent upon the acquisition of these babies.. Anyone know of a site whence to order amanita spores?

    Perth Meet

Just found this thread today (13/8)... Bugger. I am fairly new to this scene, so would have liked to catch up with a few of the usual suspects.. especially the venerable rev, about whom I have heard and of whose writings i have read so much.. Oh well, next time, Gadget. Next time...

    Aussie iboga?

From the TiHKAL entry for ibogaine: quote: Tabernanthe orientalis. This plant is now called Ervatamia orientalis, and is found in Western Australia. The leaves contain ibogaine, along with six minor alkaloids that are closely related, structurally. As a WA lad with a healthy interest in things ethnobotanical, I would like to hear from anyone who may have tried or researched using this plant as a source of ibogaine? PS I read somewhere that this plant is known also as iodine bush. Is this correct? Cheers.

    Snuff

quote: In combination with MAO-inhibitors, 5-MeO-DMT is active orally at a dose of 10 mg (Callaway 1992).Isn't that rather cool? I mean, 10mg orally?? Sounds worth investigating, yes? Microhuasca, maybe.

    Snuff

Hey all. I wonder if any of you could enlighten me as to the botanical composition and preparation of dmt snuff(s)... I have read a few times of Amazonians relying on the use of dmt-containing snuff, but am unsure of its exact nature. I mean, is it enough to just powder up some viridis or something? Also, are admixtures much of an issue here? Cheers, Curious Bush.

    antideps, dexies & ethnos

Thankyou everyone for your replies. Torsten: On the issue of the ssri/snris then, are you saying that one should only expect greater effects from these entheogens if taking these drugs? Cheers, Bushy

    antideps, dexies & ethnos

Hi. I am wondering whether anyone here may have any hard knowledge about the combination of SSRI and SNRI antidepressant medications (citalopram and venlafaxine specifically) with say, mescaline, or indeed most other psychoactives? Is there an appreciable difference in potency? In a similar vein, is dexamphetamine known to cause any weakening of the major (and minor) hallucinogens? Should it be discontinued before use of mescaline (purely with respect to the activity of the latter)? Long-term, high dosage prescriptions of above (60mg cit, 150mg ven, 65mg dex) as well as previous experience of psychedelics and other chems are present. Cheers. PS. Pray forgive the overt, semi-clinical nature of this post - all of the above is hypothetical and inquisitive; nothing illegal nor dangerous is to be attempted.
