    Browning on B Caapi

To me it looks like it's probably just a little bit of die back from the cooler weather. Possibly not enough water? liquid fert could be too strong at one point? Maybe wind burn? It doesn't look diseased or sick to me & should pull through just fine. I wouldn't even bother misting & just water the dirt. Put a bit of slow release plant food around the base too. Cheers

    Boston Marathon Bombings

So most People would have heard about the bombs that went off at the Boston Marathon this morning. The first connection I made was 'The 4 Lions'. A group of half assed torrorists plot to blow up the London Marathon. Edited for spelling errors

Rivea corymbosa (when does it flower)

My vine started flowering this week & I think I still have a couple of hundred seeds from last year somewhere. If I locate them I can put some packs up for a give away if anyone is interested. I brought my vine down with me when I moved from Cairns but the original seeds were sourced from a vendor on the gold coast via ebay.
  8. Found this guy on ebay but unfortunately it is a pick up only deal. I'm hoping that someone might grab it & do a trade with me for one of the suckers down the line http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ash-Plantain-tree-/281095136859?pt=AU_Plants_Seeds_Bulbs&hash=item417293665b

    police predicament

I would imagine so. I guess it would be circumstantial & how much time has lapsed since. Beyond my knowledge, sorry incog.
  12. I also have a few plants that I could offer up if any of your other arrangements fall through. There is usually plenty on ebay too. Peace Muskrat

    police predicament

If your friend has no previous convictions he could do a course & become a justice of the peace. They might back the fuck off once he flashes his JP card at them. PR would be a nightmare if he was convicted after acquiring this & they probably wouldn't even want to go there. But I am no expert by any means.
  14. Is this effective immediately or do we have a grace period? I am also a 5-HTP user it helps with depression. For me this is far superior to ssri's

    Betel bulk

This is definitely the way to go followed by a cigarette. Nicotine has synergy with arecoline. Don't need to go to PNG or India though Cairns & surrounding areas have plenty of betel nut. You just have to ask the right people where to look. If your up that way I suggest you start with a trip to Rusty's Markets & get to know some of the traders in there.

    Amanita Muscaria

I guess what I'm trying to say that if it's OK to turn a blind eye to one retailer that's helping fuck up someones life then I feel that it is OK to turn a blind eye to a retailer that's just helping someone fuck up their day. As a society we seem to feel as though we have the right to dictate where to lay blame all dependant on how a situation directly affects ourselves our values or our ethics. As a multicultural society this approach is destined to fail because these points of reference vary widely & not only between cultures but also individuals. (This is not targeted at anyone here. Just my final rant on this topic) You're all awesome Muskrat

This is from NSW Dept. of Health. I have worked in the homeless sector for 10 years mostly in Far North QLD where these same regulations apply however many business operatosr still capitalise on desperate alcoholics by knowingly selling them metho for consumption yet consistently evade conviction. The argument used is it's the individual who is at fault. IMPROPER SUPPLY It is an offence under the Regulation for any person to sell a scheduled poison classified as- (a) a medicine, in a quantity or for a purpose, that does not accord with the recognised therapeutic standard of what is appropriate in the circumstances, or ( other than a medicine, for a purpose other than that stated on the container or for a purpose other than that for which it is normally used. This means that every person who sells scheduled poisons has an obligation to ensure that they do not sell a product or a quantity of a product to a person, knowing that the person intends or is likely to use it other than for a purpose or in a way that it is meant to be used or is normally used. If a doubt exists, the seller has the right and an obligation to refuse to sell the product(s) in those circumstances. Particular examples might be, selling pain killers, methylated spirits, paint thinners etc knowing that they are going to be misused or abused Why the hell did point b come out as an emoticon?

Dream Pillows. Not for human consumption. To me this arguement is on par with supermarkets & hardware stores selling metho without a liquor license. Ingestion is not at all recomended but sure enough it's gonna happen anyway. Just don't sell them to kids. Adults should be free to make their own decisions.

Getting Voacanga africana to set seed

I think I might have been better off being niave/ignorant to the semen smell. I won't be able to help but make this connection in the future....Thanks Guys! I would love to see those pics TrailBlazer.
  20. I have a number of large V. Africana plants that have flowered profusely 2 years in a row without setting any seed. insects were all over them & I had a go at hand pollination which is difficult given the design of the flowers. It is too late now to do anything this year but am really keen to get to the bottom of this problem before next season. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Does anyone have any ideas about what could be the problem with these plants? Cheers

Getting Voacanga africana to set seed

Thanks for posting TrailBlazer. This has given me some comfort. Mine are around 7ft so maybe another year or so. Not sure how to explain the scent of the flowers. I found it neither good nor bad but at the same time very obvious. Kind of like a rubber mat thats been in the summer heat with a dash of frangipani.....maybe? Do you think with suckers bahaving like that it could become invasive at all? I haven't seen this behaviour so am not sure whether this is a good thing or bad. Similar behaviour is why I would never plant my Murraya Koenigii in the ground. Pretty soon you'll have nothing but curry trees in your yard this shit takes over everything. If however this is not the case here then this is indeed very very cool.

psychotria viridis, which strains produced seed for you?

I only grow the common variety of viridis but it sets seed very well. Going to have a good amount this year.
