  1. mr psylo, yes ill admit lazyness....shoot me. lesson learned i probably wont do it again and i generally dont...kicking myself for getting involved actually but what the heck im in the barrel now. ok im sceptical. thanks for post 1 paragraph 4........so dec 21 right, wouldnt greg and the posse be dead by then, i dont really get it?? is this a hunger strike with barley sugars??........i promise i will scour this thread tomoz for any evidence i have missed between post one and now, ill predict i dont find anything interesting although i liked chilli's triangle, that was pretty........generally i think greg is full of it and im hoping he proves me wrong which is why i want proof of this so called hunger. for what its worth then ill make my decision about him and a minority section of entheo bandits who in my opinion serve not alot of purpose except for self serving ego gloating and delusions of granduer.
  2. i often think frangepani and agave, there are literally thousands on roadside gardens everywhere...its not to hard to go ninja at night and fill your boot, possibly even legally if its situated in certain areas, i see bunnings sell 30cm frangi's at $30ish...agaves also seem to be expensive for what they are. they are everywhere too. especially for perth but probably as a whole the waterwise garden is now niche, it will become bog standard in 10 years, australian natives and cacti succulents will become the garden of choice for most households, mind you...it sounds great to simply start a plant biz but you have giants like bunnings and benara for starters to contend with so lierally mayby ebay, garage and roadside might be your only real petty cash options....but who knows, cash is floating everywhere, buyers are generally stupid and where there is a will there is a way.
  3. yeah pretty pointless i know T, i just saw that the thread had degenerated to drivel pretty quickly and couldnt be bothered reading that, i just wanna know if he has eaten yet, that was pretty much the basis of his idea right.....im assuming like most ppl their ideas are bigger than their actions thats why i added "i bet he has".....possibly pontless to you but not to me out here judging whether to take him seriously or not
  4. i have not read the rest of the thread yet.....i just want to know if you have eaten yet greg, i bet you have.
  5. depends what you call ''standard of living". the old example of spending to ones means is the standard most people live by, i know i am as rich as someone who earns twice as much as me...all that takes is homemade lunches, discipline and being thrifty. for example i bought a $300 dollar vacuum cleaner for $5 the other day at the rubbish dump. yes it may breakdown and infact smells like old wool, but i spent $2 and bought some baking soda. i cleaned it and it is the most brillant vacuum cleaner......now get yourself some stupid housewife or house husband on middle class income and immediately without a sweat in one day they have spent $295 more than me....probably enjoyed the status it gave them too shopping in kmart. that in a quick bubble is life, upper lower class is exactly as rich as lower middle class.....lifes big secret. it seems that now upper middle class is being targeted in an attempt to feed lower lower class, of which i think is a great direction for australia and humanity as a whole. upper middle class is mostly fed on bullshit, and loans anyway....they need a bit of a slap in the face to wake up i say.

    strange accent

15 years ago i tried some ketamine a few times. one particular time i watched a french film and understood it word for word completely, either i was completely off my chops and imagined the whole thing, or i interpreted it via imposing my own meanings by body language and filling in etc, or the subtitles helped a bit...at the time i was baffled so i covered the bottom of the screen to eliminate subtitles as i was completely convinced it was real.....i still understood word for word. whilst i do admit i was off my tits and generally thats a good sign of being borderline mental case towards any rational being.....to this day i do believe i tapped into some dormant part of my brain, thats not meant to be known. i do not now or have ever learnt or speak french.....that i consciously know of, but im convinced of some language path untapped in the brain.

Catha edulis - History, Cultivation and Use

Whitewind i didnt mean to come across so gruff, i suppose having read a fair bit on the subject i was hoping for the x-factor in your write up. Not resolving anything basically meant not really explaining anything new. Thats all, however it still may be of great interest to those who dont per se engross themselves in the subject. Cactus doesnt really interest me, i have many but i probably am more interested in my orange trees than my cactus. So in that regard im very heavily biased towards khat as my stong point which is why im a heavily biased reader anyway...no harm. It is a super constructed read and great post. Hey Moses, you bring up a great point. My father reads all these old books and he pulled me across one day and i read a passage in this book which said kat was the burning bush ie bible history. That always stuck in my mind. Ill have to get the reference. One day thinking i would do a thread on it i did a bit of research online as to the origins of the burning bush. It seems that the tree may still be growing somewhere (or cuttings of of course). In some church grounds. Possibly by memory though in the 1500's that church was pillaged and burnt and so too the tree. Does that tree still exist (burning bush)....i cant really remember so i will have to go back and look, or mayby someone else can here. So one possibility if you go on my father as a reference and some spotty old passage in some unamed book, catha edulis being the buring bush.....perhaps, mayby not. Acacia do seem to grow (what spp im not sure either) as well as harmala. It is known that harmala and acacia were often brewed in the area. Did they know that this would effect them in a certain way.....i believe they certainly would of. Being mainly 99% non religious in beliefs myself (1%) just in case haha.....i dont believe in the buring bush anyway. There is no way known to the real world a bush is going to burn by itself and start talking.......not unless under the influence of a certain brew. So mayby ill post back with more time on the theory of the burning bush, so far i believe i have rounded it to catha edulis, acacia spp and or peganum harmala.

Catha edulis - History, Cultivation and Use

Sounds lovely but doesnt resolve anything. This read is a dime a dozen in internet terms and i worry about the generic-ness of this write up and also the governmental style paranoia to the effects. However i commend you on a good reference for newbs if this is found. Chewing gum, no way man...thats just sick. Try some salami with fresh leaves. I said this awhile ago but ill say it again. You will never look back. Also catha edulis is refuted to be the moses burning bush....no for real. : )
  10. I saw a brief snippet of oscar running today at the paralympics. He also competed at the olympics. He made it into the olympics because he made the qualifying time, which is totally fair enough. However then why does he get to double dip and do the paralympics too? He did however lose the race in the paralympics. (came 2nd) Either way a disability is what the word entails, but has it in this particular case become the opposite of a disability...whatever that is. Help me im confused.

    Faking real estate references..?

haha sorry incog i knew i would inadventantly offend someone....i still hate them though. every line of work has mess to deal with so dealing with managers, customers and buyers is just a normal day at work for most people anyway so thats not an excuse for your mum but ill cut her a little slack just cos its you this typifies the sales side of real estate, i once went to a training seminar for entry level employment into one of the bigger companies.............the first question was to pretend you were asked a question by a potential buyer.... "How long have you been in real estate for Mr salesman?" answer-as directed by company... (point being buyers wont buy off beginners most likely so a lie must be inserted to fool buyer) the answer is......whatever you want it to be i have been in my rental property for 5 years...so technically i have been in the "real estate game" for 5 years. so as you can see, whilst not told to tell complete lies, technical lies are accepted and encouraged by the real estate establishment. most of all i hate those faces on bus stops, newspapers and signs...of those smarmy real estate agents all wanting to HELP you, like they are your best buddy.....most of the time i feel like defacing them....there is a famous one here that has the angelic face and the slogan next to it......''YES WE CAN", you flippin idiot agents i think......the opposite "NO I CANT" yes you can well of course yes you can then why else would you be here real estate agent. all those faces are just sharks that want to steal your money, those faces want to steal your money....make no lie about that.

How do you tell a Good Lawyer?

you mentioned big red its just a contract system by whole isnt it...ie legal aid puts out an amount call it a carrot © and one of the many who see it called lawyers in the invite vall that (100 email recipient lawyers)...an empty checkbook is opened and the hungry lawyer takes it on, to me in the real world that makes it a more real process and i believe the biggest takes the bait, now the question is....is that fish any smarter than the other hungry fish in the tank. Does paying 10 grand legal fees just serve to justify the inherant bad value we all seek in monetary substantiation of ones ego....talking about random shit here, but it basically boils down to human nature believing that paying for something justifies correct values, which is true but also not true.

    warning status

you probably just need to build up your rep a bit, we dont per se have rep but im sure you know what i mean, this isnt a supermarket and you get alot of fly buys come in and go without even blinking, if you want quick seeds then obviously an auction site might be the go.......otherwise i tend to think that in this line of life or even life as a whole, you dont necessarally find things, things find you. good luck.

    Faking real estate references..?

you can find out your reference record via freedom of information act, when you ask for it more than likely your property manager and if not even worse the secretary will snootelytell you its confidential...but by law it is not, doing this you run the risk however of your record being altered by a revenge addled power hungry real estate person, its a field where the worst of human nature can happen....you CAN get your record however and if you have the guts you can always drop the R bomb, over here in WA its called REIWA, as soon as you drop the R bomb they will bend over backwards quickly to help you but you have the double edge sword of that sad human nature conundrum of real estate agent long term record backstabbing. dont even get me started.............i LOATH all real estate employees, they are scum of the scum but they think they are the caviar or the caviar, if you are reading this and in the real estate game....I HATE YOU. yes you can fake them, just get a friend to take the call and pretend they were a private landlord who rented to you for 5 years and get them to fake you a good reference ie no pets, neat and tidy, pays rent on time and all the rest...dont be too good though, just enough to fool them which aint hard believe you me.

How do you tell a Good Lawyer?

i have only had two lawyers in my life, one dressed well and one dressed not well....the one dressed well was pathetic and the not dressed well one was the most incredible amazing man or lawyer i could imagine. a mini generalisation i know based on limited experience but personally i dont rate the whole dress to impress persona....yes it has its merits but i think its more a chameleon type pretender personality trying to be someone........as to actually being someone. all i can say is the badly dressed lawyer who changed my life was a bulldog...he digged and he dug, he barked and he shouted, he chased and he sniffed, he went hard and he protected...he followed me to the ATM to get his money thats how hungry he was, he was older and experienced and had grey hair and a beard, the well dressed lawyer simply got his assistant to write letters every now and again explaining the basic fundamentals of court........the good lawyer got on the phone and made an effort to walk with me for 15 minuted before court, when i was approached by people in the court waiting room he sheided me like a bodyguard and said ''walk away iv got this'' whilst i respect the well dressed mentality i think its a pretender mentality....the old saying never judge a book by its cover comes to mind, judges are a lot smarter than a $5000 suit. i think get a lawyer who has been in the biz for 30 plus years, he probably has been fishing with the judge and probably been drunk with him her too. you cant have enough experience in that game...the more the better, so many putzes to choose from you gotta get lucky..........my advise go for the worst dressed.
  17. Tonight i bought a few random beers. Variety's that i have never tried. I must say i am rather disappointed. On to that soon..... As a topic starter im ashamed i many ways to start it. Im afraid it's a bit too commercial and also not in keeping with the role that we play in civilised societ as an alternative to the mostly dead end cul -de -sac which can be bourbon wine beer or simply as some call booze. Yet my point aint a in deep debate on the pro's and cons of life and your method of inebriation. Trust me, both sides give me the shits. Many a night i have gone without a drink and i sometimes withdraw towards those who have had one to many simply by smell and fear alone, still after a hard days work personally i find a beer a simple and gratifying award. Especially if you have a late finish for example and you are still hyped up from the coffee and the days stresses etc etc. Anyway, its an easy topic. Just rate your beer out of 10. If you wish a small comment. Also + - if time permits, ie a good and a bad beer. ie EMU EXPORT - 9/10 (Perfecty balanced between nuttiness, dry and sweet,) MATSO'S MANGO BEER 4/10 (Sweet, low carbonation, high reputation beer but under scores my palate by a long long way) Doesnt matter this is the thread for the common man and woman. You are the expert tonight......

    Help Save My Catha's

i think ph and breadfilter are two of my fav members here and i remember fondly BF havin a lagochillius fri night post by post and planthelpers deep throat mouth fuck thread, now i have introduced the small talk and am now moving on i think ignoring is not the way to go BF, PH is obviously very passionate about greenthumbing and that can only be admired. spending or recieving money makes no-one god. personally i am a pathetic green thumb, yet my philosophy of simplicity works wonders...not, if ever anything fails its due to lazyness and neglect. my theory goes against all nursery rules, probably because im too lazy to sell and i theorise that life evolved out of lazyness. how did catha edulis get here in the first place...not through a potting mix. it started somewhere in probable poor soil and poor conditions....hey anyone can emulate that. i have no doubt that nurserys, green thumbs, the experienced and avid botanists and co get it right from time to time but nitrogen and phosphorus levels just go right over my head, and it also costs alot of money. i always remember to k.i.s.s my plants...as in Keep It Simple Stupid. I did a hole in my backyard, mayby 3 feet deep. I collect the soil, which in perth is relatively grey sandy, i fill up my pots, i take sucker cuttings, if im keen i dip them in honey. I put them under a tree and water occasonally. For all that effort i think i get at least a 95% return. Then whenever time permits they are planted and i pick up some free horse shit once a year, i leave the horse shit to mature for a month in a corner and then i rake around the plants with it. Then i let nature take over. BF your plants look dry, trim half the leaves and drop them into the ground, if you cant thenfind the poorest soil you can, potting mixes are simply a scam if you ask me. The poor soil will force the plant to survive. It kicks in theirsurvival mechanism which is the pre curser to life. I believe with plants in the infant stage less is more. Once established, then you can experiment.

    Good boot recommendations

amazonian...i saw a mythbusters on steel caps chopping toes off, with their particular experiments they proved that it was a complete urban myth fallacy and would take ultimate extreme forces to happen which by any measure you would have been screwed either way. you guys are harsh on the blundstones, just looked at my tag they are not made in china but in vietnam : )

    Good boot recommendations

i just got a good pair of blundstones so im worried now i should have gone for the steel blues, steel blues have a good rep over here in WA but mayby thats just good advertising with lillee as the ambassador. im finding mine a touch uncomfortable sole wise but i expect thats just cos the bottoms about an inch thick and are not worn in, they got some bamboo in them somewhere!! for breathability, i suppose steelcaps provide safety first and comfort second, gettin run over by a forklift or not getting a nail drive thru your foot or dropping a milk crate or brick on your toe and walking away is probably better than running a marathon in something comfy, all in all i find my blundstones pretty sexy so far but steel blues would be my next choice.
