So I've decided to start doing some random internet reading, somehow stumbled upon this. Found it pretty interesting. We manipulate and restrict the lives of plants and animals on this planet so that we can live longer and healthier lives, the holographic projection of self similarity would demand that the same is happening to us. If reality is a fractal our need to feed ourselves off the life force of others is reflected in these vampires feeding off our life force, how we treat reality is how it treats us, we are ourselves reflected at every iteration of the fractal. If I was more paranoid I'd guess that Torsten is part of the illuminati and this whole forum is some kind of controlled opposition where our leaders can see where the psychedelic resistance is heading, and smother any real movement before it ever gains any momentum, with our self appointed guru and arbiter of "quality posts" re-assuring us all that it is actually all just "drivel". *phew* I can sleep at night now and not worry about the threats all around me, well, apart from "climate change". I understand that the almost evangelical rantings of a conspiracy theorist could be a bit much for some, the global conspiracy we're trapped in is a bit much for me, of course because I see things from a different angle to you Torsten, I must be a lesser quality contributer (or even paranoid). In a supposedly open minded forum, when certain theories are cut down as certified loony bin bull shit, especially by our mighty leader himself, I can see why the defense mechanism springs into action (ego games are a big part of the control grid). The most effective way to dismiss a conspiracy theory is to call the person(s) discussing it names and watch them go batshit crazy defending themselves, then it is not the theory discussed, rather the emotional and mental stability of the person(s), if you can insinuate enough then the theory is destroyed by association with the "crazy guy". Keep reminding us that Mescalito has a drug problem, I dunno what Synchromesh's problem is meant to be, I'm sure SlyBacon and if I keep this up then I too, will have mental problems ;) ...so where are all the other deranged minds? Who says he didn't read it first? The post in question was relating to censorship puritans always doing what they do best, regardless of this apparent win for common sense. It seems a bit naive to assume Moses commented on this without reading the original post first, in fact that would make very little sense, especially considering his post was on topic. I feel terribly bad for you that you're so annoyed by your inability to see the relevance of peoples posts, it must be frustrating to be annoyed by such insignificant issues. Mescalito, no I haven't. I've seen it online before. I don't really get how you can re-arrange numbers into other numbers like that, well not in this case, haven't looked much into it though. I haven't bothered with the alternate order yet. I'll say this much, listening to lateralus whilst on mushrooms, the track order is perfect already! Saw them live during the lateralus tour and they played the disposition, reflection, triad songs in sequence as per the album order, the way each track flows into the next was amazing, very hypnotic, trance inducing, psychedelic, and I was sober! At least those three songs must be played together, and then I think... man, it's tool! Just as literacy and numeracy are basic essentials for functioning in society, so too is a collective moral code. It's about having standards within society. How much these standards help or harm society depends on their adaptability, if they are conservative regulations that stifle growth or merely the foundations for future structures to be built. I think religion or spirituality is a vital field of study like all other aspects of life, the problem I have is with institutions teaching training us is that it's yet another form of programming, that knowledge gathering isn't taught so much as copying old ideas. Religion is the same, it must be experienced directly, as a personal revelation of knowledge, not copying old ideas. I think of training as in restricting and guiding the growth of a plant, and i think of schools as in fish in a massive group moving in unison as if of onemind. Back to the original question, I'm not sure what I'd put down, Alchemy and Shamanism come to mind. Thing is, our society has been de-spirited, drained of it's enchantment so we don't have that same awe for god anymore, now we pray to the spectacle of pop culture and the high priesthood of the technocracy with their heaven sent gifts of distraction, so here's a few more ideas: Televisionism, Statism, Social-darwinism, New World Order Luciferianism...
