    Arundo Donax seed giveaway!

Guys just be careful where you plant this one. It can be pretty invasive in damp areas, and quite a devastating weed of riparian areas. It's not a declared weed in Aust, but i think it is in the US. It is doing some real damage here on some of the Hunters big rivers.

    The Humanure Handbook

No matter what your ideas on the use of the end product, i think everyone is in agreement that ruining 10L of potable water with a hand full of poo is not the way to go about managing our waste. Personally, i think the avoidance of waste and methane generation in the form of sewage treatment, and the production of plant fertiliser is a fantastic opportunity.

    Native ID Please

Boil the jug, poor over the seeds, let it sit over night, sow the next day in well draining soil.

    1. it's hard to tell with just leaves, how many prominent lateral veins does it have? 2. Twisted pods are a characteristic of maidenii 3. Looks like saligna

    Acacia I.d

Yeah looks like terminalis. also helps if you want id to describe the where you found it in as much detail as possible. Sunny spot? they like sun. Find them in coastal forest or heath, in sandy or clay soils. Sound like the sort of place you took the pics? Is kind of tolerant of a few different situations.

    Acacia maidenii Seeds

Yes please, if you still have some. The stands around that I keep an eye on have produced bugger all seed in the last couple of years for some reason, maturing sporadically too, and i haven't wanted to take what little they have produced. Can't PM you for some reason.

Any good Books on wattle ID

LoL. Hope this wasn't aimed at me. If it was, you shouldn't make assumptions on someone based on their post count. Personally interested in this book because i love Acacia's. I spend large parts of my week collecting seed and propagating plants, but mostly Acacia's of all kinds, not to "get off my head", just because i love them. And to be honest i would advise you against removing any plant material from the natural environment, including dead and fallen plant material. I understand you get a lot of noob's on here that find this site whilst searching for drugs, but i stumbled across it whilst, you guessed it, trying to ID an Acacia. So... about that book, anyone know where to get it?
