Irie, swim had a plant called Australian Bastard Cannabis, swim got free from Marc Emery back in 98-99..... It had a parsley sort of leaf.....the one swim managed to grow out was a male..... Any of you guy DownUnder know anything about this??? Respect Z
  2. Irie, So I have recently come across a small leaf variety of P.Viridis. It was growing in a clay pipe pot and totally root bound. I had them crack the pipe and add soil, as it was clearly suffering and had started looking bonsai. I have no idea how the plant reach in this private garden as the plant is not native to here. It may have been the original plantation owner who apparently collected many rare plants from around the world. So I guess I should pop back down the road a get a few cuttings, for preservation purposes.... Respect, Z

    Psychotria Seed Saving/Storage

Irie, Treat them like coffee. I would clean and dry them off then store in fairly dry spagnum....otherwise they might sprout. They may take six months to sprout anyways..... Respect, Z

ID please for three sisters Caribbean plant magick herb

Irie, So got a reply from some buddies at an online group...... "Are we seeing several vascular cylinders in the cross sections, most noticeable in the piece on the right, all surrounded by a common periderm? If so this is characteristic of Serjania (maybe other genera too) Sapindaceae. Serjania do seem to have Amerindian medicinal uses Serjania mexicana is found in Jamaica (Acevedo seed catalog). If there are three external vascular bundles in mature stems that would give three ribs perhaps leading to the local name!" I think he's aced it! Respect, Z

Irie, I'm with ph on this one; Of the 4 pear trees in mi yard, 3 of them have totally different tastes. Not sure what that pear next to the egg is but as has been said, it's well small. We're in pear season now, which usually only last till November. Last year I had one tree produce till March!! I know of a tree across the valley that has pears that big and bigger! The tree's branches often break under the excessive weight. My trees are so tall that I usually wait for windfall for home consumption! 2 or 3 a day! Respect, Z

    Nebbi kuai or jaguar testicles

Irie, I've wondered about this vine for some time! Here's the bit I like; "Among the Mixe, a dosage consists of twenty-six seeds. The seeds should be ground by a ten- to fifteen-year-old virgin and mixed with water; otherwise, the seeds will not "speak" (Lipp 1991, 190*)" Respect, Z
