If you have access to the server then backup /var/www/ On a linux webserver thats where all the webpage data should be. Saving things from a browser wont capture the whole site

I'm from WA as well, been having some trouble finding anywhere local to find cacti. If anyone could PM/post here any nurseries that'd be great. everyone near me seems to just sell Cereus Peruvianus and prickly pears

If you're in WA then i'd be keen to buy some.

I got a couple of trichs a few months ago, a peruvianus and a pachanoi. The pachanoi has been growing nicely and the peruvianus hadnt shown any signs of growth until last week. I noticed this morning that the peruvianus has the odd "wrinkles" at its base. It looks like its skin is too big for it, so its wrinkling. Any ideas on whats happening there? The pach has a few lumps on it, with a couple of them forming what look like callouses. The other thing i was a little concerned about was the colour & shape of the growth, its rather yellow and narrower. Etiolation? They're in partial direct sunlight at the moment.

Garden Pics and what is this attacking my Trich's?
Mr. White replied to blip's topic in Cacti & Succulents
Thats interesting, i've been removing all the spiders i've seen. There seems to be a new one every morning though, guess i'll let them chill on my cacti from now on -
Theyre both outside now, have been for a few weeks seeing as the perth weather has finally cleared up. I wasnt really worried about them, but i'm a cactus newbie so i could easily have missed something obvious Another quick question: the pachanoi is the "San Pedro" from herbalistics, which says "This clone is the standard Australian pachanoi" What exactly is the "standard australian pachanoi"? is this the Backeberg clone i keep reading about?

A few months ago a friend and i ordered a pachanoi and a peruvianus each, I named mine peter and icaro Just keen to get a health check on them, they're my first foray into the world of cactus growing (and gardening in general, for that matter). We planted them in a 50:50 mix (by volume) of potting mix and perlite. It seemed like a lot of perlite when we mixed it but that was the recipe we were following so i just went ahead with it. The mix probably needs some sand too. The two have been kept inside by a window since i got them and watered about every 2 weeks, the soil has been pretty dry. I moved them outside and watered them once a week about 2 weeks ago seeing as we're finally having some nice weather in Perth. I found some seaweed concentrate in the shed which i've heard is great for cacti, thinking about giving them a dose (at half strength) next time i water. Good idea? Theres some scale-looking things on parts of the both cacti as you can see in the picture, anything to be alarmed by? Peter: Icaro:

I noticed a whole bunch of wattles in some bushland near my house and i finally headed down to get some photos. Only a few were flowering so i guestimated where the others were based on which ones i'd seen flowering in the past, so dont laught too hard if one turns out to not be an acacia at all Any ideas on what these are? Tree 1 Tree 2 Tree 3 (only 2 pics because all the other photos of this tree were all blurry) Maxxed out the image limit so these are just links http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/4514/pc220660on9.jpg http://img122.imageshack.us/img122/5026/pc220658mp7.jpg Tree 4 http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/2174/pc220664as3.jpg http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/9475/pc220662bi8.jpg http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/8875/pc220663up4.jpg

Found these large cacti near my house that looked interesting. From my utfse-ing they appear to be cereus peruvianus but might be T. Pachanoi. What do you guys think? 1 2
