Ask the hydro shop if they can get bulk finer grades, my local hydro shops dont stock it on thier shelves but they have it in storage.

I've had heard of success fruiting well colonised boxes of woodchips using a casing (about half inch) layer of Easy Wetta Coir-Peat Brick (bought from from bunnings) http://www.brunnings.com.au/coir.html Boxes were polystyrene fruit boxes with lids and plastic lined cardboard boxes and were kept under the house. Sorry no temps were recorded but it was cold. Can't seem to find much info about fruiting these, just thought i'd throw this out there for feedback/comments etc....

Just thought i'd share swim's gnome's experiences .... Swim's gnome had a fair bit of healthy G.T's fruiting away, also had double the amount of cambodians in the inoc chamber, the gnomes missus went ballistic and poured vinegar (and i mean a lot) all over the GT cakes, and flooded the innoc chamber, swim's gnome came back from his oil rig 2 days later to find smelly, purple/blue GT cakes, gnome proceeded to cut the outsides off with his little gnome knife and put back in the fruiting chamber with hopes of a fruitful beginning. The cam's in the inoc chamber all left to see buddha, who denied them a second life! Gnome took a few carboard clones from the fruiting G.T's which buddha looks to have granted another life... (yay power to the little ppl). (done with 8% peroxide solution) The rest got green mold. Has anyone had experience with something like this? is there a way to recover that gnome couldn't see?
