I've never been as far as Mackay, but around Moranbah there is an active acacia around with long yellow flowers that are in flower late winter/early spring. It's easy to find because it's the dominant tree in a lot of places around there. I don't know the species but it is active. Look where clearing is being done for new housing estates and more times than not they have cleared a bunch of them so there's no need to kill other plants. If you id it please let me know because I have been trying to figure it out. Also it you ever harvest some of their seeds I'd love some of them as I live along way from there now.

Freebase is fine to take orally. As soon as it hits your stomach it will turn to the HCl salt anyway. Put it in a cap or something though because the freebase gives a slight burning sensation in the mouth.

Today I got the CD MoRT by Blut Aus Nord. Anybody who likes a dark side to their music should check it out. They did away with any normal song structure, went as abstract as I think they possibly could have and basically ended up with discordant noise that somehow works. It definitely creates a dark atmosphere. Their other CD's have a lot more song structure in them but are still quite abstract sounding. Check 'em out.

Hey guys. I've been lurking here a while. I'm glad to start posting. Earlier this year the police were warning that they, and their dogs, would be attending the big day out. Thankfully they didn't, but to respond, the organizers of the BDO sent an email to all the members of their website to address the matter. In the e-mail it was stated that 75% of people sniffed out by the dogs aren't actually carrying anything. I will admit that I never tried to confirm this claim, but I never disbelieved it either as friends of mine have had a dog sit next to them and they weren't carrying anything (or so they claimed) at the time. If that's the case, how good a search would they perform if a dog sat next to you. If they were hidden well enough on your person I would assume that you'd get through anyway... Provided you could keep your cool I guess. Any thoughts?
