Hi all, oztrance is down and I was just wondering if anyone knows about the summer solstice outdoor this weekend? Last I saw it was going to be 1.5kms from Melbourne CBD. Can anyone help with directions? Thanks.

Nice pics Greenhouse, I find it difficult to differenciate between floribunda, longifolia and sophorae. I think floribunda has thinner leaves/phylodes and sophorae has rounder tipped leaves/phylodes. Has anyone any info on the gland location? Can that be a determining factor ie. top/bottom of phylode. I have seen quite a few around Melbourne too.

Sorry about the pic quality. I've been watching these for a little over a week, growing outside my lecturers offices at school. At first I just thought they looked like subs, but today when I passed them I noticed the rim of the caps had turned blue. I took it on and this afternoon, I grabbed a few. Everything about them says subs, but I've never in my 18 years picking these guys come across any with brown stems. At least the inside of them are, the outside is pretty much white. Just thought I'd ask if anyone has encountered this and how cool is it to find them at school. I wonder if any of my lecturers are sitting in their offices staring out the window, drooling over these guys lol. I had a really good yeid from a known site with unquestionable shrooms so these will sit on the back burner, at least till I have definative proof of id. Thanks.

What's Wrong With Antisemitism & Islamophobia?
Alkron replied to baphomet's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
Moses, Jesus, Mohamed, were'nt all these guys human beings, born from the womb of another human being, talked about bettering ourselves by listening and respecting one another? I don't understand how in 2008, their words are still being manipulated and used to defend actions that basically go against the original intention of these guys? C'mon guys, they're all just fucking 'guesses' about what it's all about and can't we all agree that any use of these 'guesses' to take life is unjustified, no matter who's 'guesses' you 'think' are right. We obviously haven't come very far as a race when were still running around like little kids yelling, "My dad doesn't want me to play with you!" -
Nice, so I guess I should assume they've got my number. It's all good I am a goodie goodie. I doubt the senders copped any flack from Oz customs and they're a registered bussiness somewhere. The French don't have jurisdiction here and I doubt a single spore print would spark an international collaborated investigation like kilo's of ice and E from Canada.

Contaminated US site faces 'catastrophic' nuclear leak
Alkron replied to nabraxas's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
And to think we're concerned with the threat of places like Iran gaining nuclear energy when the real threat is our goddamn big brother the United States. Friendly fire, Nice one. -
A few of my TBMs' pups are thin. Will they fatten up? Is this normal growth or is it due to lack of light/nutrient? P.S. I've tried the pawpaw on this one's frost bite burns, we'll see.

Lucky, I had a print go missing after ordering one from an overseas online shop. No visit or customs letter, phew . AFOAF has sent a few locally with no worries, however that doesn't mean that you couldn't get busted. Like Trsten said..."precautions"

Wouldn't call this ethical living
Alkron replied to MindExpansion's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
Nicely put Auxin, and good on you mindX for speaking up. I watched it too and felt the same way. I heard billabong were contacted to say they weren't official, but couldn't they donate it all to a charity that would then take on the shipping and distribution costs. Isn't that what they do (charities), collect funds and spend those funds on the sourcing of materials and then the costs of distribution to needy individuals/communities. Was the destrustion of those clothes commisioned by Billabong? Another thing that gets up me is watching Gordon Ramsey order so much food to the bin because of it's imperfect cooking. Perfectly good food, when the news is all about world food shortages. C'mon, isn't it about time we start to utilise our resources in a more efficient way? Just my 2cents. -
Good work fellow uni-bums, 2 C's this semester, very happy considering time spent. Jealous of the drugs across cultures unit. Where is that offered JDanger? Sounds very interesting.

Nice find dreaming, tassie really has some funky subs . Don't understand why council would hinder thier magnificent growth , only I guess to stop us from connecting/collecting, (it's not like they make a mess of the manicured landscaping, a welcome display I say and unfortunately only for a couple of weeks a year). Was thinking its getting late, better late than never. I'm in the NE and had a great year over here too. Here are a few shots of the spot I found this year. Nice, strong tassie wilds....Mmmmm Which (to my delight ), dried out to this And what is this? It looks like it's upside down with the cap burrowing into the ground? Hey naja, for the novice monkey, what is this liquid culture you speak of? Spores in a syringe? Where is the tek? Prints no worries, but not sure what to do with them. Cheers, long live the fungus.
