I think this is my first login in about 4 years. Good to see some old familiar faces are still around. Hope everyone has been keeping well!

How's it been up there? Heading up there shortly..

Another thumbs up here.

Ayahuasca ceremonies are pretty easy to come by in Ecuador. To a lesser extent in Peru and Bolivia. You will find San Pedro in Peru and Bolivia too. Mexico is well known for its tourist mushroom culture, around Palaneque and other ruins. Cocaine is rampant in South America if that's your thing.

Interesting. So is there any evidence to suggest that variegation increases or decreases alkaloid content of cactii?

Bhang/pot/hashish/whatever. When I was there, I saw what looked to be HBWR growing inland (Hampi, Karnataka) and Daturas of some type growing coastally (Varkala, Kerala). Collected some samples, but didn't 'sample'. Can anyone confirm (photos below!)

3-4kg is a hell of a lot. Do try and consider others and more importantly the sustainability of that patch.

Agreed. Though as someone else mentioned, it's good entertainment.

Bridgesii's tend to do that moreso than others I've found. Often the result of too much moisture. Nothing bad will happen, just look a bit unsightly. Try and keep it dry tho.

The study makes no note of anything quantitative. Generally speaking, women are smaller, and thus have a higher dosage per kg of body weight. Maybe people who take more get higher, and come down harder?

I feel your pain. Three tips eaten out, and one down the middle causing a 2 foot pach to fall in half. Unhappy with the catterpillars!

Beautiful photos!

I read that book 'Lysergic' and it was shocking. Poorly written, indulgent and not all that informative. Oh well.

I've seen everything from a few mm up to 7-8cm, on the same and on different plants. The older/lower pups tend to have the longer/fatter spines

I've bought a load of t-shirts over the years and I find that most American places sell a size larger than what you'd expect here. I'm roughly 5'10", average build and a medium shirt is the go..
