    Roland MC-303 Groovebox (SOLD)

EG hit the nail on the head exactly with that one I think. Might as well keep this open for now on the off chance that someone is looking for a Groovebox. In a week or so if nothing happens I will try as others have suggested i;e street press, classified and maybe ebay. See how we go. Psylo, you better make some tripped out sounds with your space echo and post up an mp3 demo in the creativity thread so we can hear what you are doing with it EDIT: Missing word...
  2. ^^^That's what I did. Re cut both surfaces and put the stocking back on for another week. If Dave's doesn't take, it still might throw a couple of roots and can be grown as a cutting. They do eventually re grown a tap root. It's all a lot slower than grafting though, obviously.
  3. Hmm NegativeDave I also did that today with a loph graft, didn't want to say though haha, now I don't feel so bad about it. I re grafted it though. Now to wait again.

I did have it on ebay a while ago and it ended up costing me heaps as no one bought it. It even had 30 watchers at one point. Not sure what was going on there. Anyway, that's probably what I will end up doing, just thought it might be cheaper and easier to try and sell it here. EDIT: As a guide, postage is approx $20-25.

    Raising A.Phlebophylla

Thanks -=IndigoSunrise=- That was the sort of response I was after. It's a wonder I couldn't find your post in my search. Very useful info indeed. Will try and get my hands on some A. alpina seedsand grow them asstocks. Meanwhile I will make some attempts with easier and less rare Acacias and also get in some budding and grafting practice on other vascular plants to get my hand up to speed. 30 seconds is certainly a very narrow window for a delicate task, but with practice one can graft very quickly. Will keep people updated if people are interested. I feel this could be a more viable way to cultivate A. phlebophylla, or in the very least increase seed stock of cultivated plants to prevent wild harvesting and the disappointment in failed cultivation. If the seed was freely available, a technique could be easily established for successful cultivation, as trial and error wouldn't be so much of an issue. Thanks again.
  6. Tried some coconut milk. See how it goes.

    Roland MC-303 Groovebox (SOLD)

Yeah I was going to offer it for $150 including postage (registered). Can't believe this thread is still going, or even here really. I go away for a day and the post count has doubled... ...and no, I'm not trying to rip anybody off. That's not how I roll.

    Roland MC-303 Groovebox (SOLD)

I already asked the admin before I posted this thread. The admin OK'd it. I agree though, can someone delete this thread please though. I have a feeling selling it after those comments is going to be like pushing shit up hill. All I need right now. PLEASE DELETE THIS THREAD. I WILL TRY ANOTHER STRATEGY Thanks..
  9. Now I'm confused??? Are we running on normal time? Or forum time? Or are they the same? The forum is pretty different from when I used to post here. How the hell can I tell? Hmmm....
  10. Depends what sand you have? If it's a course washed sand, then I say use that. I use Nepean river sand, I give it a good wash before using it to remove any clay, sods and fine particles. It's also a good idea to let it dry out a bit before adding it in, as it mixes better. This can be used for your cacti, propagation seeds/cuttings etc.
  11. Would pick up be available at all?

    Roland MC-303 Groovebox (SOLD)

Gee thanks! EDIT: To those who might be still interested, I don't actually want too much for it, but I was hoping for a bit more than $100. So if anyone wants to make an offer over $100, I will definitely consider it.

    Roland MC-303 Groovebox (SOLD)

It's digital yes. I would prefer more than $100 for it. Thanks a bunch mate, I really appreciate you coming in on my thread slagging out the Groovebox and probably preventing me from selling the thing

    Transplanting cactus seedlings

Personally I'd leave them for a bit, until they are a bit bigger. Though I have repotted lophs of that size and they did quite well. If leaving them, you probably should give them a quarter strength feed of miracle gro or something similar, now and again in a fortnight etc. Drainage holes would be beneficial. A good trick with the take away containers is to pre drill holes in the bottom of the container before adding the potting medium and seeds. You will need to cover the holes with tape (duct tape is good, or just sticky tape will do) to prevent water loss and loss of humidity. Then when it's time to start watering them frequently, you just remove the tape. Makes life a lot easier. Hope that helps a bit.
  15. Yeah, you are right, sorry. My eyes somehow skimmed over the quote. Oh well. 2Deep. Update your sig pic haha! Just looked at a few threads on the coconut milk, definitely going to give that a try.
  16. Very interesting EG! I will read up on it a bit more and perhaps give it a try. @ 2Deep. Can't see your picture...

    Help with psychotria

    P. carth is more hardy than P. viridis
  18. I agree with what the others have suggested. Though it's usually good practice to keep the stock fairly well watered. My only tip is try some super glue
