Sorry, no isopropynol at Bunnings in Newcastle. No hardware store has got it or can get it either. Isocol is the closest thing available at Woolies, but, although it lists no other ingredients, i know it is no way near pure & probably contains antiseptic or something greasy. If anyone can get this stuff hassle free, pls share the source.

star jasmine plant and cuttings available
Plantsoma replied to t st tantra's topic in Seed & Plant Swaps
Has anyone had any success with extraction of ibogaine from this plant? Does anyone have seeds from: Ervatamia orientalis (Tabernaemontana orientalis), have searched a few seed suppliers, even WA. If anyone has or can help i would be forever in their debt. -
Just another reason why we shouldn't trust governments with our health & lives! The alkaloid in question can easily be obtained from many plants including Brugmansias & Daturas, so why do so many ppl just trust what they are taking when popping a pill????? Pharmaceutical profits are getting bigger and bigger, and the list of plants available to those who care to research is being dramatically reduced!!!! FUCK THOSE GREEDY PIGS!!! Look after ones self and those around.

Cartman from South Park may be after some 'semen', for his underwater sea-ciety. (-for any of you out there that may have seen SP on monday nite.)

Too Right Gomaos!!On a sensible note also: Governments probably would love it if most people saw drug use in a similar manner to this film. Sort of supports their means to persecute against 'drug' users. 'See kiddies, this is what will happen to your life if u use drugs' Although, i cant help but love the film for what it is. Fictional.

I was wondering if anyone has links/texts related to Pharmacological Studies of plants in Australia. I have one excellent text released by the CSIRO : Plants For Medicines. This text deals with Alkaloid surveys on plants, concentrating on QLD and PNG rainforest areas. I have been having a lot of trouble researching more on this topic as far as the internet is concerned - there doesn't seem to be much listed online of such surveys within Australia. I'm also curious of the alkaloid: Psychotridine, which was derived from stem bark of Psychotria beccariodes (PNG). The only other info i have on this alkaloid is that it has been shown to be cytotoxic and to inhibit blood platelet aggregation. I also have a scan of the structure of this alkaloid if anyone was interested email or PM me. ? [email protected]

On the catnip note: Catnip is a powerful diaphoretic, can be used in any feverish condition, and has a sedative action on the nerves. Though lacking detailed chemical research, catnip works both as a mild CNS (central nervous system) stimulant and relaxant in clinical settings. It is presumed that the effect is due to the nepetelactone, which has a similar chemical structure to valepotriates (the sedative principle of valerian). As a carminative with antispasmodic properties, catnip eases stomach upsets, dyspepsia, flatulence and colic. Chemical Constituents: Essential oil (carvacrol, citronellal, geraniol, nepetol, nepetelactone, pulegone, thymol), iridoids, tannins.

I think i can help. Several species of acacia and eucalypt do well in arid conditions. I have many varieties of acacia in fair quantities and many other Australian natives. I also have some native wildflower you may be interested in? Email me and let me know what sort of quantity and how many different varieties you would like and we'll go from there! I have had some ant problems and read that crushing pennyroyal (mint family) leaves and sprinkling around keeps them away. I tried it and it seems to keep the ants away from my plant pots. Im not sure if this can help your soil problem, but a natural solution based on this might work with some more experimenting.
